My experience at Gerald Kia was outstanding overall. I came in with less than 30 mins left before closing on a Saturday and ended up staying far past closing time. I worked with Mike Gately who was very down to earth and personable. Never once rushing me or my family or giving the impression that he wanted to end his day and go home. Mike gave us his full attention and effort and got me the deal according to the terms I told him I wanted to work within. I came in driving a 2011 Optima EX with only the intention on browsing and left driving a 2013 Optima SXL. Mike's efforts, the fact the he kept me constantly in the loop on what was happening at each point of the sale as well as his friendly, down to earth personality was THE reason I bought the car that day. Anyone can sell a product. Mike goes beyond. Being in outside sales myself, I appreciate and value the type of efforts and level of customer service I received from Mike. The fact that Gerald Kia has the type of eye to hire someone of his caliber, puts my trust in them for future business and I'll gladly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great service Mike. Had some pretty awful credit because of military experience and a divorce and Michael went out of his way and jumped through hoops to get me into a car. I was walking 4 miles 1 way to work every single day just to try and fix everything and developed shin splints which later turned into stress fractures. No other dealer would even listen to me but Kia told me from Day 1 they would help me and find a car. Less than a week later I was driving off the lot. 5 years in the Marines 2 deployments to Afghanistan 1 to Iraq and 1 to Haiti and Kia took the content of my character into consideration and not just the number on my credit. This means a lot more to me than anyone could realize. Thanks to Michael and the entire Kia Team you guys are rock stars and I'm sure Ill be seeing you again. More

Glenn was very helpful in helping me pick out a Kia that would satisfy my needs. After test driving the Rio and the Soul, he was able to answer questions I had and made it easy for me to make my choice. I would satisfy my needs. I had one picked out one that was on special that I could afford. While we started the paperwork, he found another one they had that was a little more expensive but had more incentives that still fell within my budget. He worked with the finance department to get to a payment that I could afford. He was not pushy at all like some sales people can be. I did not feel obligated to purchase anything just because he worked hard to find a car for me. I purchased because with Glenn talking to me he was able to find a car that I am extremely happy with. The car I chose was my decision and I was not persuaded in any way to purchase one car over another. Everyone at this dealership was knowledgeable, attentive and courteous making my car buying very satisfying. This is the 4th Kia bought in my family from Gerald Subaru Kia in Naperville. I would recommend anyone looking for a great car at an affordable cost to go visit Glenn Miller. He will make sure you get what you want and make your car buying experience one to remember. More
Very disappointed. Words cannot express. No one looked at my trade in, but valued me less $9k less than blue book. Not sure how they did that without looking at the car. Spent an hour with the salesman just to complete an application, to be told in 10 minutes that my credit and trade value made my expectations unrealistic. He put his hand out and said "good luck". No discussion or negotiation on the trade or the purchase price. None. It was just odd, to say the least. The next night I visited 2 other dealerships and they valued my car $7k higher than this dealership and got me 4% on my new car which was the same price as the Kia I wanted. Nonetheless, driving a 2013 Honda Accord at 4% and made $1k on my trade. THIS IS HOW FAR OFF KIA IN NAPERVILLE ARE FROM REALITY. Loving my new Accord, payment, and customer service I got from Honda. Next time, come look at my Kia that I am trading, call a bank, and listen to my goals. While, I will never shop here again, I would say that Bob is a nice guy, but either his finance team or GM discouraged this deal and Bob accepted the "no sale" approach. Good luck, guys! More
This is our family's very first car that we have bought together and we were looking for the best experience possible. We knew that we really wanted a Kia Soul so we started looking online for where we could get the best deal. We came across a Soul at Gerald Subaru Kia and inquired about it immediately. We were very promptly answered via email telling us a little more about them and the car that we wanted to look at. Over the next week or so we talked back and forth with Glenn and finally got to make it up north to see the car. (we live about 2 hours away so it was hard to make time with a young one at home) The moment we showed up we were greeted warmly and shown the exact car that we had inquired about. Glen worked with us on our budget and got us our perfect car. He was polite and so very helpful. I will recommend them to everyone I possibly can and they will be getting our business again in the future! More

I wondered why people even went through the agonizing process of buying vehicles and dealing with the salesmen and saleswomen that came with the dealerships. Then Michael Gately contacted me. He was no comparison to the other dealers. He was absolutely amazing. He kept to his word, was never misleading and was always willing to find the answers he did not know in a timely manner. He never promised something that he could not uphold. I only had to explain what I wanted once. He made sure that he had the exact Sportage of my dreams. On the phone and in person, he was very approachable. He did not beat around the bush and was very direct. I knew what to expect, there were no surprises. I had learned more about my Sportage in 45 minutes with Michael, than the combined total of 7 hours with the previous dealers. He knew his vehicle. He took pride in his work and truly valued the customer relationship. Michael turned my miserable car shopping experience into a happy ending. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Kia Sportage:) More

My experience began by requesting a quote online for a new Kia Soul, which I received very quickly. The price was better than what I had expected after doing research on KBB and other sites. I explained to Mr. Gately that I was awaiting an insurance settlement and would get back to him once I was more certain of its arrival. In the mean time, I told him I might be interested in a car for my daughter as well. Another excellent quote! I showed up at the dealership on a Saturday to test drive a new Soul! after receiving a part of my settlement (the rest was expected in a week or so). The car Michael had set aside for me was everything I had asked for, and more. It was love at first drive! I offered to put a deposit on the car to hold it until the rest of my money arrived. He left for a few minutes, came back with a big smile on his face and made it possible for me to drive home with my new car that day. We picked out a car for my daughter that same day. A couple of days later, she joined us at the dealership to "sign her share of the paperwork." When we were done, Michael gave us a tour of the dealership, introduced us to the Service Dept. (and made appts. for our first visits) and then we surprised my daughter by telling her that she could also take her car home that day. The rest of my settlement arrived within the next few days, which paid for both cars in full. Michael Gately and Gerald Kia went above and beyond in making both of us feel important and special in our car-buying experience. More
