This dealer i just a prime example of what is wrong with the industry and why the FTC is cracking down. Cant wait to horrible dealers like this squirm when it come time for their audit. Started out as any visit would with meeting a the salesman Mike Foerster. He satrted his planned spill like any other describing the vehicle as if I were incompetent. "Look how great these bumpers look" and "the engine drops out the bottom in a front end collision" After the test drive I asked to talk numbers (let the fun begin). After being asked how I was going to pay the fourth time I had to explain I don't discuss my data privacy in the open. The first offer was 2000 above MSRP. I took me two days to get the offer down as Mike and his "Manager"(Closer) Kevin Blair couldn't agree on which fake, inflated number they had already given me. These two definitely need to stop listening to Steve Richards and Andy Elliott. I had to fight to get them to honor their advertised price and to give me the actual cost for TTL fees"which I never got. When i asked for the fees to be written as line items, I was given a piece of paper that said "$700-Title, Tag, License." I had to pull out the HSMV 83140 forms from the DMV and do it for them. Mike looked at me like I was insane. He actually said "I don't understand what you are trying to show me". When I got the initial offer down to a fair value I explained that I was pursuing the rebates offered to me by the dealer them and the manufacturer. I then asked for the repair order for the "pre-deIivery inspection" as they had added $694 dollars in illegal tied selling items(dealer add-ons). I was accused by Kevin of keeping secrets and why I wouldn't just be "honest". My honest comes from the fact that if you're in a dealer you hold your cards close. You have to win at their game and they play it more than you do. After much back and forth and coming to an agreement on the offering price. I was ready to go into F&I and discuss the rest of the deal(as you all should). I knew I had another fight coming as all informed buyers do. When I got into finance I started gettting rushed on paperwork and the F&I Todd Bloomer was just trying to get me through as soon as possible. When we go to the actual purchase sheet I asked about the additional $1103 dollars added in fake fees. (Doc fee, electronic fees, and one i think said tax and title fee. When I was handed the contarct to sign I asked about these additional fess and Todd says quickly "I don't negotiate in finance." That's funny, you just tried to get me to buy an extended warranty. He got up and left next Kevin comes in and tries to tell me that I agreed to the price on his paper. I said no, I agreed to the offer price on the on the vehicle. This is when he went from Jekyll to Hyde. He told said "Yes you did, you agreed to this right here." That doesn't have my signature or initials on it. This is where the "Sales Manager" Kevin Blair says to me "If you not going to buy the car now at this price you cant get the xxxx out of here, I need this space for real customers. I laughed, picked up everything with my signature on it and left. Funny thing is Kevin and Mike...It was meant to be. I have a new car for a fair price, with no xx and it the total deal took less than 30min. Let hope this place gets the Florida AG and FTC visits they deserve. Trust me they know. I made sure of it. On a busy Saturday they did squeeze me in. I was thankful when I left I did not receive my sticker. My oil change light was not reset and I’m pretty sure I’m missing a packet knife.
