I was given back an unsafe car to drive My car went in for 15k miles service. Picked up the car to be told that the car has a blown strut and that's the vibration I'm feeling in the front e My car went in for 15k miles service. Picked up the car to be told that the car has a blown strut and that's the vibration I'm feeling in the front end of the car. I was told that the strut is on indefinite back order, and it's covered by warranty so it has to be a genuine Hyundai part installed. I was lied to and told this was safe to drive while we wait an "indefinite" time for the new strut to arrive. Indefinite because the strut is on indefinite back order.. Turns out not only is this car not safe, its doing damage to my tires. The very RUDE and unhelpful service manager Kevin Schechterle told me all he could do for me was give me an enterprise rental car to drive. Problem with that is, Enterprise charges $150.00 block on my debit card until he car is returned. Money I don't have. Kevin Schechterle seems to think that since he offered me an impossible solution which I can't afford, this relieves the dealership and himself of any and all responsibility for the damage to my tires and possible danger to me if the strut gives out. I should have never been given back my car to drive with a blown strut on it, and shouldn't have been told it's safe to drive when it's doing damage to my tires and could cause an accident if the strut completely lets go. I am so disappointed in the service here. It used to be really good, but since the arrival of Kevin Schechterle as the manager, the service has completely gone down hill. This is not the first time he's been rude to me, and I've had to get Hyundai corporate offices involved to resolve problems. This should not have to be the case. I'm very very disappointed. More

I purchased a used 2011 Hyundai Sonata last week and was very pleased with my experience with John Linnehan. John was extremely friendly and worked with me, instead of my parents, which was very important to me because I wanted to be included as I was going to be purchasing the vehicle. John was very informative and very helpful on explaining all the details on the car and explaining all the details on financing. I was able to get a very reasonable interest rate on the loan with help from John and I was very happy with the price of my new car as well. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking to buy a new or used car to seek John at Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke, MA because he was a very caring and helpful individual and made my car-buying experience a very pleasant one. So when this vehicle was totalled by the insurance company, he definitely wanted a new one. We applied online at Gary Rome's site for leasing, and connected with Mark Baron to schedule a visit. We were pretty clear on what we wanted, but Mark gave us the opportunity to view 2 different models; we decided to 'splurge' a little on the SE. We were able to quickly negotiate a fair price, and start the paperwork. While going through the process to get the new lease, I started to think that I would be much happier in a Tucson, than the current 2012 Hyunday Elantr Touring that I had. So we ended up getting Two Tucsons! We appreciated the attention Mark and the rest of the team paid to our deals, making it a very enjoyable experience. More

We test drove the Caliber but my husband was looking for something different. He explained to Mark he couldn't believe he was test driving a Dodge at a Hyundai dealership as Hyundai Sonata's are his favorite car and had owned 2 prior and loved them. Mark picked out the PERFECT car that he knew we would love...after about a 10 minute test drive, we were both in love and we had to have it!!! Mark & Keith worked hard at getting us just the right financing to meet our needs and we are now proud owners of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata!!! I also just have to say, we met with Gary Rome and Jack as well, I was floored that he actually came and greeted us and thanked us for our purchase...we also had a family picture with Jack with our new car...how many people can say when purchasing a new car, that the OWNER of the dealership and his family dog greeted them and thanked them personally?!?! That to me is outstanding customer appreciation and speaks volumes!!!! Thank you SO much to everyone at Gary Rome Hyundai that helped us...it was a wonderful car buying experience!!! More
I was very apprehensive and new to financing and buying a car from a dealership. I had been researching dealerships and vehicles available in the area and when I found Gary Rome I saw that this was going to car from a dealership. I found my 2012 Hyundai Accent and inquired about it online. Rick contacted me about it right away and was very informative, giving me information about the Accent and sending me information on my phone to review before I came in to test drive. When I came in John was the sales consultant who set me up with a test drive and was a pleasure to work with throughout the buying process. He answered all of my questions and concerns, was very laid back and friendly. Being a first time buyer they all made the experience very positive and I've been recommending to family and friends alike who are in the market for a car to go to Gary Rome! I will definitely be a customer again the next time I am in the market for a new car! More
I had been looking on line at the 2014 Hyundai Elantra Coupe for some time and after finally figuring out exactly how I wanted my car to be I contacted Gary Rome Hyundai and spoke to some of their interne Coupe for some time and after finally figuring out exactly how I wanted my car to be I contacted Gary Rome Hyundai and spoke to some of their internet personel who were very informative and honest about telling me they hadn't received any coupes yet but would call me when they got one in. Which was fine because I wasn't in a real hurry to purchase a vehicle. Maybe after a week or two I received a call that a coupe had come in and scheduled an appointment to drive it. When I arrived for my test drive I met my salesperson John Linnehan who was so great in pulling the car out from 5 rows deep after a snow storm. So I took it for a drive and totaly fell in love with it except that it wasnt the color I had been hoping to get and it didnt have the technology package. When I explaind to John exactly the car I was hoping to purchase he went to his manager and they began to search for one. Which they did locate and were willing to get for me. I am happy to say with in the next week I was driving away in what I think is an absolutely beautiful car. I just want to thank everyone at Gary Rome Hyundai for going above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. Everyone I spoke with and met while purchasing my vehicle were very nice and knowledgeable. I especially want to thank my salesperson John Linnehan for all his efforts to get me the car and explaining all the functions of the vehicle to me at delivery.
