I have to say I am amazed at the number of 5 star reviews for this dealership. My experience was quite a bit different I am afraid. On the plus side the actual sales process was very smooth. We had alread for this dealership. My experience was quite a bit different I am afraid. On the plus side the actual sales process was very smooth. We had already done our research and decided what we wanted to purchase when we contacted Fretz. They offered a very competitive price and there wasn't any pressure to add any extras that we didn't need. So 5 stars for this part. Now we come to the day we were scheduled to pick up the trailer. Here is where things crashed down to 1 star. 1. We arrive for the walkthrough. Salesman tells us the trailer has been winterized. Apparently he didn't check though. Fortunately I happened to hit the fresh water level check button and found it was full. Asked salesman what the deal was. He then confirmed 'oopsy, not winterized'. But these things happen and they would take care of it before we left. OK. I can deal with that. 2. We ordered a weight distribution/anti-sway hitch that Fretz recommended. It wasn't installed when we got there on the trailer part. Mechanic comes out to install it while we wait. It doesn't fit this particular trailer. Would have thought this also would have been taken care of before we arrived. To fix they had to tow the trailer over to the shop to do the work. It would be back at the dealership in an hour. 2.5 hours later after bugging our salesman it came back with it installed. OK. Now I'm getting annoyed. Becoming a very long day. 3. We ordered the brake controller that Fretz had recommended. I look at the trailer. No brake controller. Again, something that one would think would have been looked at prior to me arriving. Salesman goes and gets one, sticks it in the power port, tells me how to get the app to configure it. Gee. Would have thought you would have kind of noticed the missing brake controller before I pointed this out and would do a test drive, help me adjust it etc... Nope. 4. We had ordered a backup camera. Again we selected the Fretz recommended camera. Well at least the camera was actually installed on the trailer. Problem is they didn't know where the monitor was. Clearly they didn't test this either. Also the backup camera wasn't even wired properly as you need to turn on your lights in order for it to work vs. it coming on when you switch to reverse. Salesman couldn't get the monitor to work so while he was fumbling around I got it to work myself. So I think the deal with these guys is that if you are brand new to trailer hauling (which we were and made that clear to them) and want some hand-holding then avoid this place like the plague. Maybe if we had purchased a more expensive trailer we would have gotten better attention. Don't know for sure. But not only was this a sloppy preparation effort on their part it was potentially dangerous as I could have driven out of there without any brake controller. As it was I drove out of there not knowing how to use it. If you are an experienced RV'er it is probably a good place to go to. But ultimately it isn't about just selling a trailer. Prepping the trailer for pickup is very important as we were there for about 6 hours waiting for them to do things that should have been done before we arrived. The obvious lack of almost any preparation of this trailer for pickup leaves a bad taste in my mouth and have to question the validity of these 5 star reviews. The following day I did get a request to fill in surveys for these guys. I responded to the message with my dissatisfaction and got a message from someone claiming to be Steve Fretz with the generic 'so sorry' reply but it was obvious that he only know a tiny part of the issue. But this was promising to me. I thought "well maybe they do care after all." After forwarding him the above list of issues he also went silent. Oh and if you do choose to go there do not sign anything saying that they have showed you things that they actually didn't show you yet. I did because I thought that 'well they are going to show me these things in a few minutes' but of course they did not. Lesson learned on my part. Which is probably the best thing I can take away from this experience..... More

Service center needs to be more educated and compassionate with customers. They seem to forget that customers have spent a lot of money buying an rv with fritz and theY have to travel from far away when needing warranty service. Which seem to happen often. They seem to forget that gas and and tolls not to mention time is at the customers expense. I’m very disappointed with the service department but unfortunately once they sell you the rv you’re stuck using them unless you’re fortunate enough to be in range of another jayco service center. Our inspection and tutorial of the new coach was negatively impacted by the staff’s refusal to wear face masks. When we asked Brain S to wear a mask when we were completing the paperwork, he replied that being dead would be more comfort than wearing one. More
