There was no pressure or intense sales pitch from Al. He was the most informative salesman I have encountered. We ended up buying a 29.5 Thor Citation 5th Wheel 2000. Would come back here anytime and send friends and family here. Kathleen Feather More

In April 2012 we bought a used 2010 K-Z camping trailer from Fretz RV. We love the trailer but with the problems we had it has been very disheartening. The trailer was very clean and appeared to have had m from Fretz RV. We love the trailer but with the problems we had it has been very disheartening. The trailer was very clean and appeared to have had minimal use. 1. We were given one key that fit one door; the trailer has two doors with different locks. I complained to the sales but that went on deaf ears. I had to call the lock manufacture and new keys were sent at my expense. Fretz could have done that, it is like buying a car with no trunk key. “Rating POOR”. 2. The black sewer tank would not completely empty, it was blocked, water only drained when the tank was half or better full. The sewer gate was stuck and difficult to open. I complained and they loaned me a hose adapter to flush the tank but that blew apart after a few uses. I dumped 2 bottles of Drano in the tank twice to try to loosen the sludge and then cut open the bottom trailer skin to gain access to the gate to force it open. Fretz sales said checking the sewer is part of their check list and water came out. Hmmm. In September the gate was so hard to open the handle broke off, now I have to buy and install a new gate assembly. My opinion is that sludge was left in the tank and never flushed upon trade in. “Rating POOR”. 3. During the hot days in the beginning of the summer we turned on the AC. It worked for a while then shut off. After many attempts of restart I checked the filter. It was clogged. Why wasn’t a “filter check” on the list? They probably let it run for 30 sec. and said “it works”. “Rating POOR”. 4. The toilet leaked and the service manager sent me knew washers. “Rating POOR” except the service manager, he tried to help. 5. I was wondering why the front roof vent was leaking. This is one of 3 and it didn’t match the other two. It was brittle and cracked and looked as if someone took the good one off and replaced it with an old one. I complained so I bought a new one. No sympathy there either. 6. I also had to replace the inside trim molding on the rear door. The calking was cracked on the outside allowing water to swell the foam trim up to a foot from the floor. This probably not all Fretz but I had to cut and re-caulk other seams. I feel caulking open cracks should be on the check list if they even have one. I would have expected to have my propane tanks to have gas but the one went empty after the first month and the second in July. How cheap can you get, the two of us only use it on weekends and Saturdays we go out and eat. In the beginning when the sewer problem developed I had called the Fretz sales man and he promised a worker would be up that weekend and no one showed up. When I went to Fretz on the following Monday and talked to the Service Manager he knew nothing about the problem and he couldn’t send someone up any way. I have crossed Fretz RV off my list of recommendations and as a result two of my children bought trailers elsewhere. When the Fretz salesman “walked us through” it took aprox. 15 minutes and then I had to insist we operate the “bump out”. Rating Poor. More
