Fretz RV: Awful salesperson, good customer service We ended up with a very nice Roadtrek Agile at a good price, but it was not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately the Fretz sales person I dealt wit We ended up with a very nice Roadtrek Agile at a good price, but it was not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately the Fretz sales person I dealt with (Al Papa) would tell me just about anything I wanted to hear, then not follow through on it. Among other things, he told me the oil would be changed by the local Mercedes dealer, he told me they would change the generator oil, he told me they would check/change the transmission fluid, he told me the van was all ready for pickup with all detailing done and the bathroom door rattle fixed. None of these turned out to be true. When asked, he went so far as to tell me that the transmission was sealed, and the fluid did not need to be checked or changed! The oil was changed, but by the dealership, with the wrong oil, and they put and extra ½ quart in so that on our way home the oil light came on – just what you want after you spent that kind of money on an RV! On the bright side, they worked hard to get the van 100% ready once we arrived to pick it up (thanks to Dave and another very helpful gentleman). They also compensated us for the failure to change the generator oil. In addition, they offered to come out and drain the extra oil as we sat at a truck stop wondering if we had just made a huge mistake, and they paid for a new oil change at our local MB dealer. They even offered to refund our money and come and pick up the RV if that was what we wanted. By this point, we were dealing with Eric Fasci, the GM, who made every effort to make sure we were satisfied, and apologized for the mix-ups and the behavior of the salesperson (Al Papa). I don’t know that I will ever deal with Fretz RV again, but in the end I felt that they were an honest dealership with some issues. So if you are thinking of buying there, beware, and , of course, get EVERYTHING in writing, down to the last detail, or you may be disappointed. More

What a wonderful hassle free experience After going to shows & researching travel trailers for 1 year, I knew I wanted the Winnebago DS2201 Minnie (Exterior color in red). I found several on the internet that were in the price range I was willing to pay. My last call was to Fretz RV (Pete Polloni). I met the Fretz team at the Hershey PA RV show a year earlier. Pete not only matched but beat the price I was requesting, and did not pressure me to buy a on site trailer, but told me it was no problem to order straight from Winnebago. All coordination was telephonic and via email. Six weeks later Pete called to tell me the trailer was in and ready for pickup. I showed up at Fretz on my requested day and met Pete for the first time. The paper work was in order and took ten minutes. Pete then provided a very thorough walk thru and orientation and got us on our way. For never meeting Pete or having gone to Fretz before my pick up date, I would use the words; professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and trustworthy. An overall awesome stress free experience. Definetly worth the 3 hour drive from Washington DC. Highly recommend Fretz and make sure you ask for Pete Polloni More

Site un-seen used RV purchase It's always a little unnerving to put down a deposit on a sight unseen used RV. However, the hard-to-find all-aluminum Livin Lite brand truck camper It's always a little unnerving to put down a deposit on a sight unseen used RV. However, the hard-to-find all-aluminum Livin Lite brand truck camper we were looking for is extremely difficult to find used. An Internet search found one at Fretz for us, although it was nearly a 9 hour drive away. Pete was our salesperson gracious enough to text cell phone pictures of the unit as it had not yet been fully inventoried with pictures online yet. He took the time to do a detailed explanation over the phone of what we were getting backed up by pictures. This lead to putting down a deposit over the phone. We were not disappointed, the unit was great and exactly as represented. In addition, there was an extensive amount of work to do on our truck to properly mount the truck bed camper. Pete successfully worked the logistics to ensure the correct parts were ready when we arrived along with making sure the service department could fit us into the busy Saturday schedule. The quality of the work on the truck was as fantastic as the RV. Very satisfied customers here, would buy again! More

Luke was a regular guy with great knowledge of the product and was willing to do anything to make sure our buying expierience was a seamless one. We are away as I write this review and everything is working out just the way Luke said it would. I would not hesitate to recommend Fretz and Luke Wilson to anyone looking for any kind of RV. I just picked up my second used RV from Fretz in the last 10 yrs and had another pleasant experience. Although I was concerned about everything working properly due to the unit not being cleaned and gone over yet, they gave me a really good deal on the price and when I came to pick it up, it was cleaned up very nice and my salesperson Al Papa was very helpful in going over every appliance and light switch to make sure everything worked and I knew how to work everything before taking it home. Al even went above and beyond when he noticed the propane tanks were a little rough so he had them replaced at no additional charge. Even after getting it home and having a question regarding the jacks, Al was quick to offer to bring the unit back in and fix the problem if it could not be resolved on my own. I would recommend Fretz RV for your RV needs. More
