I was recently looking for a new or used vehicle but was relatively undecided. I test drove several vehicles from a variety of manufacturers. I was confident I knew which vehicle I wanted. I was introduced to Brian Tetzlaff at Fred Mueller Automotive. We discussed what I was looking for in a new or used vehicle. Rather than giving me the usual "car salesman" pitch, he handed me the keys to the Buick Verano and said take it for a drive. Admittedly I had to call Brian a few days later, but he followed up with me daily after that to get me exactly what I wanted. In fact, my 2012 Buick Verano came with everything I wanted and more. The car was delivered shortly after. Brian spent an hour going over the operation of my vehicle with me. I was introduced to the Service Department and Body Shop personnel as well as the sales manager. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be as excited as I was on my new car purchase. I had a great new car purchasing experience for the first time in my life at Fred Mueller. I wouldn't hesitate to suggestion them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. One side note, the salesman from the "other" dealership never bothered to call me back. I guess he didn't know women over forty can and do buy their own vehicles. More

I was introduced to the Fred Mueller dealership as I accompanied a friend during her vehicle service visit. I approached a gentleman that I found working in the lot "preparing the lot for the coming snow" as he indicated to me. I asked if he knew of used Acadias in the lot and he "invited me" to take a look and escorted me to the vehicles. I was actually very surprised to find out that this gentleman was a salesman and not the lot attendant. He did not protray the "stuck to your side" salesmanship that you often experience at car dealerships...similar to the experience that you may have had at the furniture store whereby the salespeople stick to you like glue to the point that you just want to run away from them! My experience that day was what brought me back to test drive the vehicle that Mike "introduced me to". Mike introduced me to the vehicle in a manner without pretense. I was treated like a "guest" and from that moment on, was referred to as a "guest". When my husband and I returned to test drive the vehicle, Mike gave us all of his attention, in a totally non-threatening way. He demonstrated trust to us from the first moment he met us. He made sure that we understood that he was there to serve us and meet all of our needs. When we came to pick up the vehicle and leave our vehicle behind, Mike was most attentive to our feelings. We greatly appreciated the extras and the special touches that Mike put into the sale for us. The car-shaped cookies and balloons made the day very special. My husband was very happy with his "farmer hat" too! What I will remember...and what will bring me back to this dealership is explained in the following quote: "People will forget what you said. After I was convinced the van met my needs... we were only apart on the delivery of the van from Wi to Portland OR. I had been looking for a new car for a while and finally Landon found the one that I absolutely fell in love with, a 2011 Jetta! We had recently been in a car accident with our 2004 Chevy Impala and we had come back to the area to visit family. On our way we stopped at Fred Mueller, which is the same dealership that sold us our Chevy Impala and we had come back to the area to visit family. On our way we stopped at Fred Mueller, which is the same dealership that sold us our Impala (8 years earlier), and we were greeted by Doug. Mind you it is 15 minutes before they close on a Saturday! Doug was very patient with us and very helpful. I spotted a 2004 Chevy Impala identical to the one that we had just been in an accident with, except the color was different. We had to have that car. Doug and the finance person stayed until 7 p.m. that night (2 hours past closing). We drove the car off the lot that night. I was very pleased that we were not pressured in any way and our experience has been awesome for both of our vehicle purchases through Fred Mueller. We chose the same car only because our other one was totaled and we walked away from the crash without any injuries. There is something to be said about the Chevy Impala! I am very happy with the service we received from Fred Mueller and the employees (Doug and finance guy). Thank you so much for being understanding, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. More
