I am eight months out of bankruptcy and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I am 67 years old and I have never had a dealership treat me this good. They were simply amazing. It started with Sherie who I talked to me several times on the phone. Then whwn I got to the dealership Rob Williams took over. This dealership has to be commended for what they did for me. Especially since I was just out of bankruptcy. They didn't have to but they did. I am so incredibly pleased with the car that I got. I have been servicing at Flemington (now Action hyundai) for over 2 years now and each time I go I am greeted with happy faces. This dealership is a high pressure house with a very poor service dept. I leased a 2011 Sonata from then Flemington Hyundai now "Action" Hyundai.....very high pressure salesman who in the end I feel gave me service dept. I leased a 2011 Sonata from then Flemington Hyundai now "Action" Hyundai.....very high pressure salesman who in the end I feel gave me a very bad deal. Every time I came for my "preferred Customer" discounted oil change they would attempt to sell many other services that were unnecessary and very expensive....the Service Dept misdiagnosed a recurring transmission problem. They said I probably needed a new transmission (at 33,000 miles). I had lost faith in the ability of this dealership to do anything but rip me off so I took the car to another Hyundai dealership in Doylestown. They immediately offered me a loaner car that Flemington Hyunda never offered me even though I purchased the car there. The Doylestown Hyundai dealership immediately correctly diagnosed my problem with the transmission, replaced a sensor and the transmission was 100% perfect. When I returned my expired leased vehicle to the Flemington Hyundai dealership...there was not one salesman that I recognized from 3 years ago....the place is a revolving door according to one source I spoke to there. More
Buying a new car can be a stressful event. Jose Morales made the process and decision very easy. I like that he didn't waste any time in finding out exactly what I was looking for and taking me out for th made the process and decision very easy. I also felt he was very honest with me and he presented the Hyundai purchase well. He was also able to negotiate the price range I was looking for. He was a pleasure to work with. I would also like to say what a pleasure it was to work with Redmond O'Rourke who helped me set up financing through the dealership. They both helped make the decision to buy a Santa Fe very easy. I am on my second lease with this dealership and DJ was very helpful in transitioning me from my 2012 Elantra to a 2014 Sonata. Joe showed a overall lack of knowledge about the car I was interested in when I first visited. I felt as though I knew more about the car I was looking at than Joe. He continued to state that the car had was interested in when I first visited. I felt as though I knew more about the car I was looking at than Joe. He continued to state that the car had 188hp and that seemed to be the only fact about the car that he knew. When I went back in to seemed to me that Joe had read over the owners guide packet and he was able to say a little more about the car. I tried to get a price quote from Joe over E-mail but he continued to try only to get me to go to the dealership to talk. I finally caved and drove to the dealership. When it came to pricing the car Joe would not move until I was just about to walk out of the door. After that he insisted that Kelly Blue Book was the actual price of the car.I had found other websites that listed the car at about $700 less and when I had told Joe about this he became visibly mad, saying that there is no way that the price I was seeing could be true because the invoice price was still $500 more. Over all I bought the car because it was the car I wanted and the next closest dealership was another hour away. The sales manager and the finance manager were both very nice and accommodating. More
I should start this off by saying that I ended up not purchasing a car through this dealership, although at absolutely no fault of the sales person (DJ Kent) I worked with. I simply fell in love with a purchasing a car through this dealership, although at absolutely no fault of the sales person (DJ Kent) I worked with. I simply fell in love with a car from another manufacturer. That being said, the experience I had with DJ was far and away the best experience I have had in my years of working with a sales associate. I came in pretty much knowing the exact make, model, and option list I wanted. Unfortunately, the only vehicle they had with this configuration was parked in a spot on the lot that was not easily accessible. DJ and the rest of the staff went through considerable effort to get the car out and make sure that I had the exact configuration I was interested in to test drive, with very little assurances that I was even heavily interested in purchasing the car. Truth is, I had never driven a Genesis, so I could not provide them much of an assurance. I was not simply trying to find the right Genesis, but trying to determine if the Genesis was right for me. The extra effort they went through to accomodate me in and of itself was beyond the bare minimum you usually get from a sales representative. Off the bat, DJ knew more about cars than any other sales rep I have talked to in my years of shopping. It was obvious he was not just a guy who sold cars, but a true car guy. This was very much appreciated. Then, after the test drive, DJ and I talked a lot about the car, about what I was looking for, and about the other cars I was considering. DJ did not pressure me into making a decision that day, and in fact encouraged me to go out and look at the rest of the cars on my list. He was very respectful of how big of a decision this was for me, putting himself and his own commission aside and worrying about my own wants and desires first. All those sleezy sales moves that so frequently happen to try to get you to make a decision before leaving? Didn't happen. In the end, one could argue that DJ's insistence that I go look at all the cars on my list and determine what's best for me may have lost him a sale, although in reality, I was going to go look at all the cars I wanted to look at before making a decision regardless of whether DJ was supportive of that or not. However, and perhaps more importantly, while DJ may not have won my sale, he did win my recommendation, and I will keep his card and recommend him to anybody I know who is in the market for a Hyundai or Mazda.
