This dealer is made up of rip off artists. Not only did I end up over paying for my 09 sante fe but they offer me "free" oil changes for the life of the vehicle. I just had my first oil change and it cost I end up over paying for my 09 sante fe but they offer me "free" oil changes for the life of the vehicle. I just had my first oil change and it cost me $16.95. Now not that it is a bad price but I was sold FREE oil changes. They stated to me that the "free" covers the parts and oil but not the labor. I hope they are happy that I will never shop at this dealer and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I would however recommend the Hyundai brand because I have now owned 2 and have never had any problems with either so far. Excellent vehicle and crappy dealer - Hyundai would be smart to remove this dealer from their network. More
The car is great but they added so many extras that i was unaware of that i am paying a ridiculous amount for this! One "extra" is a 10 yr service contract. When i realized that the loan amount was so excessive, i contacted them to find out why and they explained how much this 10yr contract was for. They agreed that it could be removed so i said, yes, please do that. They didn't. I live 1 1/2 hours away but had to make the trip to the dealership to again make my case to remove the contract, and they had me sign papers and assured me that it would be removed. I waited for the amount to be deducted from my total loan amount but it didn't happen. I tried calling them but could only leave messages which were never returned. i finally called the company of the socalled extended service contract, and they informed me that the contract was never even submitted to them!!!! So, i am paying for (and paying interest on it too) for something that was never even submitted in the first place! Worst, was the "appearance package" which amounts to about $1700 that seems to be nothing more than spraying the seats with scotchguard and filling the tires with nitrogen (whatever for?). I had no idea that was being tacked on the package as the finance guy was very personable and friendly and just never mentioned that all these great things that he said came automatically with the car would cost extra. In addition, they charged me an estimated bundle for taxes, registration etc and promised me a refund when it was all processed and...of course, no refund, AND i am paying interest on that extra amount, as well. There is more, but i am tired of typing. They don't return my calls. I really am sorry this turned so sour, as the saleman was very nice and i had really hoped for an honest transaction. I have since called Hyundai (national office) and hopefully, they can help resolve this. More
I received an Ad from Flemington Hyundai in NJ that stated I could trade in my '04 Santa Fe for a '09 Santa Fe and keep the monthly payments the same as I am paying on the '04 car. It also said I woul stated I could trade in my '04 Santa Fe for a '09 Santa Fe and keep the monthly payments the same as I am paying on the '04 car. It also said I would receive a $300 Gas Voucher and a possibility of winning a new car or up to $10,000 in cash. After spending 4 or 5 hours at the dealership with the salesman he told me they had no '09 Santa Fe's. I said the ad was for an '09 model and gave him the ad. He was surprised that they advertised an '09 and they didn't have them. He said if I purchased the '08 I would get an additional discount and I agreed then to take an '08. When I was finished talking to the salesman, the price of the car was under $20,000. I went to the financial manager and he tells me the payments are going to be over $400 (My original payments for my '04 car were $338/month). I told him that was too high and I was leaving. He came back with a price of $398 and I said it was still too high, the ad was for keeping the payments the same, and I could not afford more than my current payments. He came back again with the payments of $360 and I said it was still too high but after being there for so many hours I agreed. I wanted to give the car to my wife for Christmas which was approaching in a week. We shook hands on the deal, he handed me the contract and I signed it. He took the contract, folded it up and put it in a packet. When I got the payment book in the mail approximately 3 weeks later the monthly payments were set at $398. When I went back to talk to the financial manager he said the payments were higher because the warranty wasn't included in the price we agreed upon. When I said that wasn't true, he asked me to leave and walked me to the door. Upon further research I found he eliminated the total discount for buying an '08. I did receive a 1,000 bonus for answering the ad and an additional $2,500 that was in the ad and an allowance of $826.00. I did not receive the gas card. Two of the loans he applied for I was turned down because the expense would have exceeded my income. The one loan he applied for was $31,700-the vehicle was listed for $26,000. I repeatedly told him the only way I could buy this vehicle is if they honored what was in the ad. Flemington Hyundai stuck me with a bill for 7 years that I cannot pay. The price is so inflated that I can't even refinance. I only had 9 months left to pay on my previous car, I never agreed to the price of the car. If I let the car go back I still have a tremendous bill to pay! The other Hyundai Dealership in the area has advertised twice $9,000 off any '08. I was overcharged at least $7,000 plus not receiving the gas voucher. Hyundai now offers an econimic relief program to take the car back if you cannot afford the payments, I told them my situation and they refused help me because I purchased the car in '08 and the program started in '09. I trusted Flemington Hyundai to act in both our best interests in the name of customer service and reputation. I warn anyone considering purchasing a vehicle there to be wary of what you are promised and thorough in inspecting documents you sign. I strongly recommend to anyone to purchase elsewhere. More

I don't get free loaner cars when having my car serviced, but $1400.00 will get me a lot of loaner cars if I ever need them. More
I drove 65 miles to Towne Hyundai in order to get the best price. I won't say exactly what the deal was, but he definitely made it worth my while. I got back in the car and headed for Flemington. When I arrived I expected to see the usual car dealership with blaring loud music, people arguing and yelling over price, and smokers blocking the entrance to the front door. My expectations couldn't have been further from the truth. The whole experience was so dramatically different from other dealerships I had visited throughout the past two weeks. First, I met the owner within minutes of walking in, and he was ...get this ...a nice person! Whoa! Because I had done most of the negotiating throughout my two weeks at various dealerships, we didn't have to talk about price; other than the price we agreed upon while I was still at the other dealership. The only time we spoke about the out the door price was when I met with the Finance guy and he asked me to make sure the numbers look right. My biggest concern was wondering how to entertain my 22 month old son during this whole process and thats where I see this family dealership set itself apart in my eyes. The Admin assistant, Rebecca, was awesome! She looked after our boy during the entire time we met with John the Finance guy and he was having a blast. She changed their t.v. to disney and even let him jump around in a few cars, and she seemed sincerely interested in helping us. When he locked himself in an office the owner was tickled and ran and got a key. Very low pressure, easy going, fun and family oriented place. Contrast this to managers at Brad Benson Hyundai who were shouting at me to take a deal which they said I'd be Stupid if I didn't take it. I love the Giants, but I am no longer a fan of Brad! If you are concerned about the distance, don't sweat it. Its an easy drive (outside congested city roads) and its WORTH IT!! I'll be buying from them in the future. More

She would have probably spend 4-5 hours to find one for us but then later finalized on a Sonata. Christa was totally cool and understood the situation without getting upset and got us a great Sonata at a great price. If it wouldn't have been for Christa patience and way she represtened Flemington Hyundai we wouldn't have travelled 35 miles to get our Hyundai. Was patient, honest and not pushy and was willing us to show various models available and test drive. He also got us a good APR through Hyudai(better than my Credit union). Since we got a demo model, he got us new carpets, spare key-less entry keys, new windshield(as the old one was scratched) and of course without any charges. Petre Bogdan - Service Manager Re-programmed the car keys on the fly. Changed the windshield by giving a loaner car. Professionally handled and was very punctual with the committed date and time. What a great dealership, they didn't feel scummy or manipulative at all and the prices were fair. He found my trim/color/option choice fast, swapped for it and it was ready to pick up four days after our first meeting. Flemington Hyundai is 30 miles from my house, but I'd drive there again for my next car. More

We arrive and one of the cars we were interested in had been sold two days before so we looked at the other sonata they had on the lot. We weren't on the lot a minute when Bart ran to get the keys and out on the road we went. He didn't hard sell us, he just sat and answered questions. When we got back we did our inspection and then we went in so he could get us a carfax. The carfax came back clean and he excused himself from us so we could discuss what we wanted to do. We went out to poke at the car some more and when we were satisfied we went in to talk price. Now I love this. The price was right on the car...no jerking me around like so many other dealerships no sidetracking me by asking me about payments so he could highjack that kickback from the finance comapany. I said so how much can that price come down ( the price on the car was already quite a lot less than than consumer reports or edmunds or NADA or KBB, said it would retail for but hey it can't hurt to try<G>) He asked what price would make us happy, what price would sell us the car. We said he could drop $500 more off and to our surprise he checked with the boss and it was good to go! Less than an hour later the deal was done, they washed it and shined it up and off I went down the road happier than I have ever been after leaving a car dealer! So go to flemington and see Bart. We got a great deal on a car we love and friendly helpful NON pushy service. More

Flemington was closer to the place i moved in recently. so i wanted to give them a try. and it was a pleasant experience! they understood what i wanted though i missed out some specifics. they quoted a low price and stuck to the amount. no last minute changes in the price. sales person was friendly & the managers also came in to talk to me to sort out my requirements. they delivered the car on time.
