I had worked with Frank Spruce over the phone and had agreed upon the framework of a deal. Frank was not able to keep his appointment with me and I was turned over to a salesman on the floor who had only a vague knowledge of what he was doing and had to run to Redmond for any answer more complex than "where's the men's room". When I finally sat down with Redmond the numbers he came up with came out of a black box access to which I was not given. My previous dealings with Frank had been transparent with both of us on the same page using the same hymnal. Requests to see how the calculations were arrived at were denied. I turned around and drove the 70 miles back home and negotiated an acceptable deal locally. Something changed in the dealership in the last year and it's more than the change in name. More

Besides showing and describing the car features, DJ along with Frank, one of the Sales Managers, also helped us find the right leasing program at a very affordable price. Frank explained all the great benefits of leasing in a very easy to understand manner. More importantly, we never felt pressured, and Frank did a great job in explaining why leasing was a great option for us and our current situation. We didn't really expect to make a decision the same day, but we did! It was a great experience from start to finish! Thank you to DJ, Frank, and the whole team at Hyundai! More

I am very glad that I was mistaken! I received an initial quote via e-mail from Jennifer for the vehicle type of my choice (a new 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS base package). After visiting the dealership I met Jose Morales, a very friendly and knowledgeable salesman, who asked me what I was looking for (a new or used vehicle, features, model, color, etc.) and then settled on a final price for the new vehicle and on what I consider to be a generous trade-in value for my used vehicle. Jose explained everything to me with enthusiasm and answered my many questions with patience. I was never pressured to pay for or to 'drive the vehicle off the lot home' that day, and taking delivery of the vehicle a week later was not going to be a problem. Tony Lee handled the final paperwork with great efficiency and was very open; he answered my many questions patiently. I had a very good experience that was easier on my nerves than expected and fit within my schedule. Now that I have a new Sonata, I have the peace of mind of having an excellent warranty on a new vehicle that I purchased within my budget. I have had my new 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS for 3 days so far. It is a pleasure to drive and I am comfortable in it. My family is also comfortable in the vehicle and we are all enjoying the sound-system. My wife and I are especially enjoying the Bluetooth connectivity feature so that we can enjoy any audio media that we have on our cellular phones. So, if you ever have need of a new vehicle, you'd be well served coming to Action Hyundai and making a purchase! Ask for Jose! More

We were uncertain regarding what make of car we wanted to purchase, so I volunteered to conduct the research, believing that we could use to our advantage the fact that we were buying two cars. After looking at many manufactures, makes and models, I decided that the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was the car for us, as it was affordable, had good gas mileage, good warranty, and of utmost importance, extremely safe. I also took on the task of negotiating the purchase price of the cars. I commenced this task by contacting several of the dealer's internet departments, which eventually led to me e-mailing back and forth with various salespersons. After securing several quotes, we decided to visit the three dealerships that had the lowest quotes. We visited two of the dealerships. As you guessed it, when we arrived in person the quotes morphed into different numbers and we ended up leaving both dealerships annoyed (but not surprised) without new cars. Years ago, I had a very positive experience when I purchased an automobile at Flemington Mazda. I decided before traveling to the third dealership that had supplied me with a quote, to reach out to the salesperson who sold me my Mazda. When I tried to contact my prior salesperson, I learned that Flemington Mazda no longer existed, as the dealership had been purchased by the Action Automobile Group and was now called Action Hyundai and Mazda of Flemington. I of course informed the person on the telephone of our desire to buy two Sonata's. Due to the fact that I already had several quotes, I asked to speak directly with a sales manager. I was connected to Sales Floor Manager Tony Lee, who was not at his desk, but immediately (to my surprise) returned my telephone call. We briefly spoke and he assured me that he would at minimum beat the lowest quote I had in writing by $250. Throughout the week, I spoke with Tony a few more times on the telephone. He sounded very sincere, so we made an appointment to visit Action Hyundai. We visited the dealership on a Saturday afternoon. Although the dealership was very busy, we were greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. Tony introduced himself to us and said he was putting us in the capable hands of Consultant Russ Sheppard. Russ was a joy to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had an awesome sense of humor. He was also very, very patient with my sister and I when we asked a lot of questions. Tony did not abandon us which often occurs in busy dealerships, he frequently checked on us and even brought us two slices of pizza when we said we were hungry. Tony was a man of his word. He beat the quote we had by $250. We both purchased cars that day and never made it to the third dealership, The day we came to pick up the cars both Tony and Russ stayed late to accommodate our work schedules. Neither my sister and I had eaten dinner, so Russ was kind enough to get us takeout and would not accept any money from us. Words cannot express how happy we both are with our new cars and the experience that we had at Action Hyundai. Tony Lee and Russ Sheppard are men of integrity which unfortunately is a trait that is more the exception than the rule in the car business. He was able to pull up the internet quote and reiterated the pricing what was included in the price quoted etc., During my search for just the right car, I found that not many dealers would provide me with a quote unless I visited their showroom first....which kind of defeated the purpose of using the internet. That was not the case with Flemington Hyundai and for this fact alone, I drove an hour out my way when I could have gone a mere 15 minutes to my local dealer. With that being said, after we discussed pricing, Joe pulled the car around so that I could take it for a test drive. I had someone with me and being the good salesman that he is, having over heard me say her name here and there he said "Sit in the front Eva, I will sit in the back". I expected him to know my name and he did, but to remember MorMor's name, that did not go unnoticed. Two points for that! The car was everything I had hoped for and more. Still, I felt like I should shop around....but they were not going to let me leave, they knew another dealer would want to make the sale and asked me point blank, "what do we have to do to have you drive this car home today"? Besides guaranteeing me a set price, I asked that they install a remote starter at no additional cost and they did so on the spot. Given that I did not actually intended to buy the car on the spot, I did not have my trade in with me, they however offered to follow MorMor and I back to my house to get my trade in and make the return trip back to the dealer. More bonus points...remember I was an hour away! Will I go back to Flemington Hyundai, Yes and when I do - I'm bringing a box of Joe! Thanks Guys! More
I just had the WORST experience at this location. Their phone representatives and sales team are dishonest and flat out liars! Do not shop here at all. We saw a TV ad for $99/month no-money down. Thinking "this is too god to be true" we called the location FOUR different times to confirm that is the deal, and that there is no other fine print or qualifications. I live in South Jersey, and it is a 2 hour trip to this location, 2 hours back and X amount of hours to account for the B.S. stuff you have to do while there (paper work and such). We spoke to Mike Vance (sales) on the phone AND Frank Spruce (sales manager) and they confirmed not a penny over $99/mo and no money down, no other fine print or qualifications. Four times we called to verify, so I wouldn't have to waste a 4 hour drive there and back. Of course, once we arrived, it was a different story. Mike (who was supposed to be there) was gone for the evening, same with Frank. We met with a salesman Joe Morales who informed us that to qualify for this deal, we needed to meet certain criteria (recent college grad, military service, previous Hyundai owner, etc) otherwise the price was $249/mo OR 3k down to get the $99/mo offer. WE ASKED THIS FOUR TIMES prior to committing to the four hour trip (there and back)!!! Bunch of liars! I will be contacting local news, papers, and social media and warning people away from this dishonest business that wasted my time. Do not shop here!!! More
