Usually this dealer is a solid choice for service, however my last experience was less than reasonable. Upon arrival I was informed that the oil plug was stripped at the last appointment by their serv however my last experience was less than reasonable. Upon arrival I was informed that the oil plug was stripped at the last appointment by their service tech. Originally told that they would order and replace oil pan at no charge, great right? Well about an hour later I was told it could be repaired with a heli coil and I would not need a new oil pan, a bit unsure but I agreed. The next day I discovered an oil leak on the floor in the garage, so heli coil was not effective. The bigger issue is that I also had a tire rotation, also the next day it developed a horrible vibration, as I discovered after pulling over one of the lug nuts on the back tire spun off and all of the lugs on the rear wheels were loose. I was told "they would fill the gas tank"..tank was 3/4 full when I got the car. I was told by the salesman the dealership would set a time in the next week or so to get the stain on the backseat cleaned. full when I got the car. I've been a customer of Kia in Fort Wayne for about a decade. Unfortunately, the quality and level of service has steadily declined over that time. Several times, although vacuuming and washing are suppo decade. Unfortunately, the quality and level of service has steadily declined over that time. Several times, although vacuuming and washing are supposed to be included with my coupons, one or both are not done. This most recent time, they kinda half-assed it, and vacuumed the front seat, but not the back. We had a recall claim for one of our cars, and they refused to deal with it, despite us having all documentation and we tried to get them to look at it for over 18 months. We eventually went to the Muncie location, and "BOOM", it was dealt with and corrected within 2 days. This continued lack of professionalism and shoddy behavior/service has actually led me to decide I will not purchase another Kia, despite my enjoyment of the vehicles. But, I refuse to deal with these guys in Fort Wayne any more than I need to, and basically if my car wasn't still under warranty, I wouldn't. More
Had an appointment for a software update on my Kia. The car was taken right in and was completed in less than the projected time. The car was cleaned and returned, ready to go in record time. Although we would have liked two orange Fortes as was listed on the website, my husband is thrilled with his orange Forte and I really like my black Forte.
