Fort Collins Nissan responded

When Mr. Chant brought in his Xterra to discover why his ABS light was on, we found that he had a bad sensor. At that time he declined the repairs, and we DID NOT charge him the diagnosis fee, we let him take the vehicle. It is not uncommon to begin work on cars, and as you get in deeper or start taking things apart, find more issues. We feel that if we would have had more time, and began fixing the sensor we would have found that the hub may have been bad. Nissan would have taken care of the fee for that since the problem is what they call “consequencial damage”.
