I came to Ford of Kirkland because they offer great deals on the car that I wanted to buy. From the moment I walked in the store on the day I test-drove, I knew I wanted to work with these guys to get my new on the car that I wanted to buy. From the moment I walked in the store on the day I test-drove, I knew I wanted to work with these guys to get my new Ford. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and realistic of my expectations of price, features and the market. I came in last night (4/8/2013) to purchase, after I had test driven a few other cars and thought about the car that I wanted to get. I was immediately greeted at the door and helped by Josh, who hooked me up with Rodney whom I had been emailing back and forth with. Rodney simply wasted my time. He was "bouncing" back and forth between me and another customer and from the minute I began talking with Rodney in person, he didn't seem like he wanted to help me. Instead of helping me figure out which car was best for me in their inventory, he wanted to get me to pay full price for a dealer trade with a car dealer in Oregon or find something completely out of my price range and more than I wanted that was in his lot. He tried to have me pay $10,000 over my price range on a $35,000 car, I am assuming to help his commission. After about an hour and a half and repeated questions from myself and my girlfriend regarding why we were wasting our time looking at a car (he even tried to price it for me) that wasn't comparable to the one I wanted, he passed us off to Josh. This was the most productive thing he did all night and probably the only thing that saved me from walking out the door. Josh asked us outright why we were there that evening. We responded with exactly what I wanted. After about 10 minutes of searching the lot, he pulled up to the showroom of the dealer with the exact car I was looking for. It wasn't that hard. We then began the paperwork and I drove off the lot that evening. Josh is very patient. He is attentive to our needs, wants and is realistic about a price. He is motivated to get the deal closed with not only the dealer's interest in mind, but ours as well. He doesn't seem like a "car salesman". He seems like a motivated customer service agent who is looking to match a couple up with a car. This is what your company needs. You need more professional, goal-oriented, customer service-oriented, salesmen. I really enjoyed my experience last night. The only reason I am not giving excellent all the way down the rating board is because of Rodney wasting our time, patience and almost losing the sale for you guys. Keep Josh, he was great! Let's face it. Car dealerships and sales people have an old reputation of being fast with the talk, long on the pursuit of the pricing game, and slow with the actual service. Dan was the exact opposite an old reputation of being fast with the talk, long on the pursuit of the pricing game, and slow with the actual service. Dan was the exact opposite, acting with a modern approach that was friendly, but not over the top on sales speeches. He knew we wanted the C-max, so didn't go overboard with useless information. Instead, he answered our direct questions and then worked out the various options we could consider on a lease. He treated both my husband and me with respect and was particularly responsive when during both our visits we happened to be short on time. He was able to partner with his colleagues at the dealership to speed the process up and get us on our way with our new vehicle. He then followed up with an email to see how we were doing with the car. We have always preferred going through car brokers to avoid the hassles we have associated with dealerships. But because of leasing, we needed to go the dealer route and were relieved to meet Dan who made our experience great! More
My husband and I found our car online and thought it might be too good to be true. My experience with Dan at Ford of Kirkland, was very positive and refreshing. We had been looking at cars and were pretty overwhelmed with pushy sales people. Dan wasn't like that at all. He was frie positive and refreshing. We had been looking at cars and were pretty overwhelmed with pushy sales people. Dan wasn't like that at all. He was friendly and took the time to talk to me, without making me feel pressured in any way. He listed out all the costs of the Focus and worked with me on a bottom line that I could live with. When it came time to buy, he wasn't in the store that day, but he had everything set up with Justin Mitman for us. We went in, got the paperwork done and everything went as smooth as possible. Justin was a great person to deal with as well. He was knowledgeable and knew his stuff. We enjoyed our conversations with him very much. He also made sure that we knew all the ins and outs of the car before we drove off the lot. All in all, it was such a good experience, that when we are ready to purchase another vehicle, we will definitely contact Dan and go back to Ford of Kirkland. More
My son and I came to the dealership to look into purchasing a new car that would get better gas mileage than what I was driving. We knew we were looking to get into a Focus so Sonny showed us severa purchasing a new car that would get better gas mileage than what I was driving. We knew we were looking to get into a Focus so Sonny showed us several from the Sedan to the Hatch-back. We ended up purchasing the hatch-back. I was difficult to work with because of financial constraints, but Sonny and the team did me right. I was very pleased to get the new car and a good deal as well. I would recommend working with Sonny any time. He was pleasant, up front and very personable. I will return again when the time comes to purchase another vehicle. I had this idea of dealerships that they just want to sell u crap and they will lie to do it but i heard from a fried that they have a good deal on some cars so i had to check it out. I got a very good deal on a brand new car. Joshua was the guy who was helping us out and he did a great job and so did everyone else. We came in close to closing time so they had to stay past their usual time but everyone was real nice. My friend who cot a car from them recommended this place to me and i will recommend it to my friends. More
