Our salesman, James Teufel, was young, smart, and very personable. Walking around the dealership lot with us in the pouring rain, after a 2+ hour drive, James stood by our side and answered all our question and saw to needs. We would highly recommend seeing James if you are looking for a great sales experience! Many thanks to "H" without whom buying out 2016 Ford Edge would have never happened! My wife and I highly recommend going to Ford of Kirkland for price and sales service in the NW!! More
Sales good, Service Great, after the sale POOR I bought my 2016 F150 here in July, little interaction with the sales rep cause he was working 3 sales at the same time. The finance man was more help I bought my 2016 F150 here in July, little interaction with the sales rep cause he was working 3 sales at the same time. The finance man was more helpful. The service department to get the extra's I purchased complete was GREAT. A few weeks after the sales I get a refund of an over charge on the licensing, then 1 1/2 months after I get a bill for licensing taxes that was supposed to be overpaid. Sent letter to dealership GM and get no reply. I was going to buy the other half a new car also from them but now that is not going to happen. I will be going to another dealership for it. More

At no point did I feel pressured by him or anybody else. After the purchase was a different story. My purchase agreement included some weather seal replacement & a few trim pieces glued down since they were lifting off but still worked fine. I just wanted them to look okay on my expensive "new" vehicle. I had to contact the dealership several times to follow up due to not hearing from them at all, & it turned out that the internal communication never happened & parts weren't ordered. I was also initially told I'd get the spare keys after they found them, & that was never followed up with either. When I last spoke to the manager before I bought the car, he was extremely friendly. When I stopped in to get my plates, his attitude was now uncaring. Jon was still trying to provide good service & reassured me it would be rectified. He was polite & attentive still. Jon told me that the WA DOL doesn't refund unused registration on vehicles you sell, so I should pitch the plates. That was a bummer since I’m new to the state & paid for registration on the vehicle I was trading in just a month earlier. I did some research, & it turns out that the dealership was wrong & that you can get a refund. However, I no longer had plates because they took them when I traded, & had missed my deadline with the DOL anyway. I provided a link to the official DoL page that states this, & Jon apologized, said they'd make it right, & would get a check written to me to make up for that false info. A couple of weeks passed without communication, & when I last checked, was informed that it was still being looked into & I’d hear back when it’d been resolved. That was weeks ago, & at this point I've just given up. Since all of this went down I now have new plates, & was mailed the replacement weather seal to install myself, so I wouldn't have to make yet another trip back in. There was no mention of gluing the other seals, I was told they couldn't find the spare keys, & lastly they are now backtracking on their promise of cutting me a check for the false registration information since I threw $175 down the drain. Lastly, the vehicle was supposed to get a full detailing. When I looked at it for the second time it seemed ok, but not great. Having now owned it for a bit, I discovered that the cleaning was superficial. I found all sorts of garbage, dried liquids, & gross stuff all around the vehicle. Under seats, in cup holders, under floor mats, etc. The guy who detailed it didn't go to any effort to move stuff & clean it the right way. I even found a piece of dried chewing gum in one of the rear cup holders. This wouldn’t be a big deal normally, but was icing on the cake for this situation--I spent two full hours re-cleaning it & pulled out a small bag's worth of debris, garbage, & other stuff. In short, I think that Jon is a busy guy who cares about what he does & tries to make customers happy to some extent. I also think a customer should not have to follow up time after time to ensure things are on track. I shouldn't have to ask four times about keys, or twice about the check, or three times about the seals. It’s just a hunch, but I think that this dealership lacks & that everyone in general just lacks proactive behavior. Many of the promises they made were hollow, because most of the things that were to be "made right" have not been. I really feel like overall, my excellent service stopped as soon as I signed the box and wrote a check. Update - 1/9/2017 After posting this review on the web I was contacted by the dealership within 2 hours so it must have gotten their attention. I was asked what it would take to "make all of the online reviews 5 stars" and to remove the negative comments, or to take down the reviews completely. I said that I wouldn’t remove comments unless they were false statements, but that I’d update the review & rating accordingly to reflect any change in outcomes. To do this, I told Jon that I simply wanted follow through on the commitments they made. A spare key and a $175 check. After a few back and forths, I was then told that before they'd do anything I would have to change all my reviews to 5 stars. I was then offered a $100 reimbursement instead of the $175, and to their credit they tried to get me a loaner vehicle so I could drop mine off to have a spare key made. It went back and forth a few times, and I eventually just quit responding because it was clear that they were still going to fall short of the things they said they’d do in terms of the reimbursement check. I felt bullied in that they wanted to hide my negative experience from others and were only willing to help me on their contingencies. So I ask, did they care about me as a customer or was it really all about how many stars they got? I'm pretty sure it's the latter. More

Once we arrived at the dealership, Jon made sure the vehicle we were considering met our towing requirements. Since we owned an older version of the same make and model, Jon limited his explanations to the new and updated features of the vehicle. The price negotiation based on our trade-in was straight-forward and agreement was reached in a very short time. Jon provided us with additional owner information from the manufacturer and dealership. A photo of Jon with my wife and me in front of our new vehicle completed relaxed, no-hassle purchasing experience. At the end of the day, Jon followed up with a phone call making sure everything met our expectations and reminded us that he would always be available if we had any concerns. More

I told the sales person that I wanted to use my own financing and did not want to apply for Ford credit and would like to nail down a price. I was told "the price is the price" and they do not negotiate prices at all. As the price was already good I decided to continue. They took down some information to verify identity then proceeded to tell me I could not even test drive the new vehicle without calling my insurance company to add the vehicle with full coverage and that the salesman would drive and I could ride with. After not even getting to ride in the car eventually I was told they would not sell me the vehicle because I didn't get approved for Ford financing. They ran my credit for them even though I specifically asked not to. They told me they would not sell me the car with my financing because they would lose money. I was told that they have to pay capital one a "bank fee" so they would lose money on the sale and that they could not even sell the car for more than advertised to cover the "bank fees" During discussion with my original sales person and the manager they tried to tell me that I had not been approved with capital one. Knowing this to be false I called capital one to verify my maximum loan amount and the information I had been told. I was informed that my application for the vehicle had been received, accepted, and sent back to the dealer as approved. While talking to them I was also told there was no such "bank fee" charged to the dealer by capital one and that there should be no issue because the dealer was an approved location for capital one finacing and the cost of the vehicle was well below my approved limit.
