My New Car We did all our research before we stepped onto a dealership. We knew what we wanted, what we didn't want, color, options, you name it. And we didn't w We did all our research before we stepped onto a dealership. We knew what we wanted, what we didn't want, color, options, you name it. And we didn't want any salesperson "helping" us. We went to Flow Toyota Statesville (based on our research) on Sunday of Presidents Day weekend and found it closed. We're from CA and so this was a shock but no worries gave us the opportunity to peruse the lot un-bothered by any "annoying salesperson". We found the car(s) we liked and were ready to return the next day to "do the dance"... we thought. When we arrived on the lot the next day we saw 2 salesmen and at first they left us completely alone. Then after a while one of them approached us and we were like, oh boy, here we go. But he was very nice, not pushy and most importantly, very knowledgeable. As we walked and talked we noticed a car we didn't know about because it was outside of our search. However, through the knowledge of Michael Buchan we left with that car. A model we hadn't even considered. We are so very happy that he approached us that day. We feel like our meeting Michael Buchan and purchasing our new car with his help that day was fortuitous- meant-to-be. It felt more like dealing with a friend than a salesperson. More
