Our service manager Nancy Hernandez is the best. A smiling face and pleasant positive attitude best describe the atmosphere she creates. She had our car scheduled for service within 24hours and addressed all of my concerns. This is critical when protecting an investment which a BMW certainly is. Once again she displays all of the fine qualities that represent the Fields auto group. All of the staff at South Orlando should be commended. I do not know of any other auto group that has free car washes. More
I need help, Fields BMW from South Orlando is ripping me off I took my BMW X5 due to an Engine Malfunction Reduce Power light that came up a couple of weeks ago, I call my insurance company and tow my vehicle t I took my BMW X5 due to an Engine Malfunction Reduce Power light that came up a couple of weeks ago, I call my insurance company and tow my vehicle to Fields BMW and requested a full diagnose on my X5. The next day I received a text message from Fields BMW representative stating they have completed a full diagnose on my X5, for the warning light (Engine Malfunction Reduced Power) The IVM module($490.00), Charge Air Pipe ($710.00), the crank case heater ($220.00) and a major oil leak from the oil filter housing gasket ($1,015.00) which came to a total of $2,435.00 I ask the representative, which items were creating the Engine Malfunction Reduced Power Light to come up, and she responded "everything is urgent, but as far as items needing replacement to continue driving the car, you should replace the Charge Air Pipe, the IVM Module and repair the Oil Leak, since I knew the Oil leak was not causing the warning light, I told the representative to change the IVM and the Charge Air Pipe which the total cost came up to $1,156.00 with taxes. The next morning (Wednesday May 2) I pick up my X5 and within 10 minutes into the road, the same warning light (Engine Malfunction Reduced Power) came up, I immediately pull over and reach out to Fields BMW representative which she told me they will tow the vehicle back to Fields BMW at no charge and diagnose the vehicle again. After the vehicle was taken back to Fields BMW, I sent a text message late in the afternoon around 5pm and the BMW representative told me they were still figuring out what was wrong with the X5, per her text "We are tracing our steps to make sure workmanship is done correctly". The next day (Thursday May 3) the BMW representative told me the DME module need to be replaced and the cost was $2,470.00, I told the Representative I needed to speak with the manager as I already paid for parts that supposedly needed to be replaced and the same warning lights came up. I proceed to visit Fields BMW the morning of Friday May 4 and the shop foreman confirm that the previous diagnose was not done properly, but after he personally conduct multiples diagnoses with his best certified technician, they discover the DME was the one causing problems and ensure me once the DME is replaced the vehicle will work without any problem and since they made me change parts that were not needed to be replaced, all I needed to pay was the difference between what I already paid and the price of the DME, the amount agree to pay was $1,275.00 plus tax. I ask Gregg, are you 100% sure that's the problem with my vehicle? I don't want to continue paying money just to be guessing which parts are damage or working, and Gregg responded, No Sr. I personally did the diagnosis on the vehicle we did several diagnosis to ensure we find the problem and is the DME, once we change the DME you won't have the warning light of Engine Malfunction reduced power coming up. Therefore I told Gregg if that's the case, please go ahead and change the part and I will pay the difference as agree. Gregg advise me, the part will not arrive until Monday, but we will give you a loaner vehicle to move around while the part arrive. I didn't heard anything from Gregg or the dealer until the following Thursday when the Fields BMW lady text me to advise me the Water Pump need to be replaced as is continuously running and it will drain my battery and the price was $1,295.00 plus tax, I ask her what does she means, as Gregg told me the past Friday that the only problem with the vehicle was the DME, she said it was a new diagnose after the DME was replaced. I said is the Engine Malfunction Reduced Power warning code gone? which she said, yes but the water pump continuously running will drain my battery and then the vehicle can over heat. I told her to unplug the water pump so it doesn't drain the battery and when I pick up the vehicle I will take it to a trusted mechanic for him to review and advise if the water pump was actually needed. She told me "we don't recommend you driving the vehicle, please get a tow truck as we won't be responsible if the vehicle overheat due to the water pump" which I told her I understand, I will ensure I drive the vehicle carefully and ensure it doesn't overheat. I pick up my X5 on Saturday May 5 and 5 minutes into the road, the Engine Malfunction Reduced Power warning light came back up, I immediately call the dealer to inform the problem of the Engine Malfunction Reduced Power, and their response was "we told you not to drive it, the water pump is damage and you were made aware of this, there's nothing we can do" Now I know why they didn't want me to drive the vehicle away, they knew the Engine Malfunction warning light will come back up and they didn't want to deal with the situation, and the best way to walk away was to advise me not to drive it and get the water pump change. In my opinion Fields BMW from South Orlando is rip me off, they are cashing in on me and not fixing the initial problem for which I brought it to the dealer. They made me change the IVM, Air Charge Pipe, and the DME for the engine malfunction warning light but is still on, so either the replaced parts were working fine and didn't need to be change as the water pump was the problem from the beginning or the DME or parts already change are not working properly and need to be diagnose again. I would like fields BMW to fix my X5 as inform by Gregg or reimburse me for the amount I paid as the vehicle has not been fix for the problem I brought it in. I have all text messages available and my conversation with Gregg was recorded for proof of his promise of the DME being the problem causing the Engine Malfunction Reduced Power warning Light. Please help with this situation, as I'm not a millionaire to be paying for a repair and after multiple parts been change the initial problem still on. Sincerely, Pedro Torres More

Several weeks ago our X3 had flat I would like to recognize Nancy Hernandez service advisor at Fields South Orlando for her great attitude and smile. Several weeks ago our X3 had flat tire and she was able to coordinate and have the tire repair completed in a timely manner. The tire and wheel repair is great warranty to have as one cannot predict when a tire will have damage. On 2/24 I brought our X1 in for oil service and this process was also completed in a timely manner. Nancy possesses great skills that set her above all the rest. Service with a smile . I would like to recognize all of the staff at South Orlando for their smiles and kind hearts. From the front desk to the car wash crew all generating positive waves.
