I’m sick of the whole service dept. I took my vehicle for service and was told I needed spark plugs. I was told they needed to be ordered and to come pick the vehicle up until the parts were delivered. Once service and was told I needed spark plugs. Once they called and informed me of the arrival of the parts I made an appointment to take the vehicle back. About an hour after I dropped it off I was contacted and told the price would now double because there was a hose that had to be replaced in order to do the job. When I questioned it they sent me a picture of a small hose and said it’s not the hose it’s the small plastic clip. But since they cannot just change the clip I needed the whole hose and they couldn’t change the plugs unless this was replaced. Which doubles my price. This type of deceit is disgusting and needs to be addressed. More
My experience at this dealership has been the worst. I just moved from New York to Florida. I am a service advisor as well before I moved from New York I work at BMW AS A SERVICE ADVISOR. It didn't matter what color you were management took upset customer very seriously. But at FIELDS BMW OF SOUTH OLANDO this dealership they pretty much brush me off. I brought my vehicle in for maintenance and a few concern. I was having issue where after I fill the gas tank and I drove off the vehicle will start to shake as if there is a misfire but there is no warning lights. I was told BMW was aware of it and is working on a fix. My other concern was my right front panel on my bumper was coming out. I inspect it to make sure there was no damage because I know manufacture does not cover damage only defects to a part. I was told by my advisor the foreman stated my front bumper was re-painted. I said to him you can check car fax this vehicle has never been in a accident before. Then after inspecting it again they came up with another xxxxxxxx excuse. My other concern was my shifter has a plastic/ glass cover and it started to chip. I ask can you guys see if you can get this replace before it gets worst. I was told they can't replace it because it was not like it was cutting me. I was so furious I said to him I have to wait until this cuts my hand or finger before you can do something about it. I ended up picking up my vehicle because they were just full of it. This gets better I take the I4 every morning and night anyone that drives on this highway knows that there is always traffic. I was driving my vehicle the next day and I was on the local road all a sudden my vehicle started to steer into both lanes I got scared. I grabbed my steering hard and steer it into one lane again. I look at my windshield and notice this long mark I thought it was something flew on it. After inspecting my windshield it was actually crack. I call the advisor I told him he said to me I saw the windshield crack I thought you knew about it. I did not take my vehicle in with a crack windshield as an advisor if you see something on a customer car you mention it because at the end of the day no one wants to take responsibility for someone else. They took a video of my vehicle and if you look closely there was no crack on it. They said to me I crack my own windshield and they did not even apologize or even try to help out. I had email the general manager never got a email response. I spoke to the manager did not sound like he was sympathetic at all. I was told management will only go above for certain kind of people. I felt like what just happen a 70 thousand dollar vehicle and I make sure my payment is on point. To be treated like xxxx. You are better off taking your vehicle elsewhere. Customer service might be a lot better than a FIELDS BMW OF SOUTH ORLANDO. More
