While shopping for my new Passat, I visited 3 local dealerships. I was already pretty sure what I was going to get, this was the time for the dealership to sell itself to me. While in shopping mode at Fathers & Sons, my salesman, Frank Marvici, was particularly busy that day. In watching his activities, getting a vehicle ready to leave for a new customer and taking the time to go over the details of the car, working on finalizing another sale. All of this while taking care of myself and another prospective buyer. I liked what I was seeing, the dealership was clean, the staff was friendly without jumping at you like vultures as some salespeople can do. This being said, I returned the following day to start the actual purchase of my new Passat. As he was the previous day Frank was great to work with, taking the time to answer all of the questions that I had along with some I had not yet thought of. Due to my hectic work schedule, picking up the car could have been a real pressure day, But Frank and the rest of the team at Fathers & Sons made this go smoothly as well, even though I could not get there until late in the day, everyong was more than willing to spend the needed time to finalize everything. As I had noted on the prior Saturday, when Frank was finalizing the delivery, he spent ample time to go over in detail how some of the featurs of the car worked. While pulling off of the Fathers & Sons lot with my new car I felt that my experience was very positive, thanks in part due to the detail that was given along the way. Ryan Bussinger recently sold me my second new car purchased at father and sons. I have found him to be courteous, knowledgable, and very cognizant of the value of my time. He handled all of the "legwork" behind the scenes, so that when it came time to complete the purchase, all I needed to do was fill out the paperwork and I was on my way. It is because of Ryan that my loyalty has, and will, remain with Father and Sons. I know when I am dealing with him that I am getting the best deal around, and I don't need to worry about price shopping the competition. He doesn't waste my time trying to sell me "extras" that he knows I am not interested in and don't need. He is not pushy at all, and this is very important to me. I have left dealerships in the past due to overly aggressive sales people. Ryan knows the difference between selling someone a car, and bullying them into a car, and I appreciate that. I went in to Fathers and Sons expecting to do a few test drives and move to the next dealership. Instead I met up a with a very nice salesman whom I clicked with almost instantly. He could tell what I wanted (from my brief description) and showed be a few, but then to my choice, the Jetta TDI. I'm a person who immediately knows if he likes/dislikes something; this car felt great to drive. We began talking numbers and and to be the horrible haggler I am, stated as much. Frank was very honest with me, which while may be a little less attractive quality as a salesmen, made me all the more comfortable and helped seal the deal for me. I did have to wait a bit of a while when actually receiving my car (had a different color brought in) which was a little frustrating, however the primary reason was my insurance company. And then i examined the situation on the other foot; the dealership team was staying late on my behalf to converse/call/dispute/whatever needed to be done to make sure I was in my car that evening. He explained the car to us and when the car was pulling to the right the day after we picked it up, he had us bring it in right away to be fixed. He made every effort to make this experience as painless as possible. The people in the service department were polite and made me aware of the progress of the repair. More
