My salesman was Rob Bellan who was very knowledgable about the Terrain and was very low pressure. He went over every detail of the vehicle. And once we said "Yes!" he announced it over the loud speaker for the entire dealership to hear and the manager Steve Willis came over to congratulate us and give my wife flowers and to thank us for coming to us. Even after we left Rob made sure to fallow up with us to ensure we completely understand all these gadgets in the Terrain. It was a great overall experience and my family and I wi be coming back to see Rob and the entire Kerbeck crew. More
Went in to look at a Buick Enclave and realized that it was a little out of my price range. Once I told the salesman that I wanted to look at a less expensive vehicle, his tone totally changed. All of a su was a little out of my price range. Once I told the salesman that I wanted to look at a less expensive vehicle, his tone totally changed. All of a sudden he could not care less about selling us a car. I guess unless your planning on buying the top tier cars, they do not care about you. Left the Kerbeck and went over to Burns GMC in marlton. Love my new Terrain !! Glad I didn't buy at Kerbeck. They are a sub par dealership. More
Very good experience at FC Kerbeck. There was a little xxxx-up with my new Acadia but the dealership stepped up to the plate and made it right. They gave me a great deal on the car and even gave me a $300 xxxx-up with my new Acadia but the dealership stepped up to the plate and made it right. They gave me a great deal on the car and even gave me a $300 gift card for my trouble. I will definitely be going back to Kerbeck to get my next car. Thanks to Frank, Steve, Denny and Lauren for all your help. More
We went to FC Kerbeck in Palmyra in July 2012 to purchase a new car. We needed a bigger car since we were having our first child. At first the experience was pleasant, we got what we thought was a “good de a new car. We needed a bigger car since we were having our first child. At first the experience was pleasant, we got what we thought was a “good deal”. Two weeks after purchasing the car we had to bring it in b/c the air conditioner was broken. We thought ok a little something that can go wrong. Since then our XM Radio has broken, our gear shifter sticks periodically, & the ignition key sticks periodically. We took the car back to FC Kerbeck within 6 months of buying it and they wanted nothing to do with us. They sold us this piece of crap and they could have cared less and wanted nothing to do with fixing the problem and making it better. I wanted to bring our car back and get a new car, not an upgrade, not a better model I just wanted the exact same car I had purchased, except I wanted a car that worked. Their only solution was that we had to trade in our car and buy a new one. All said and done when we initially bought the car we had 6500.00 down with cash and trade. After sitting in the dealership for and hour or so he informs us he doesn’t even have any Terrains on the lot to give me. He knew we were coming to look at new cars why wouldn’t you have the info already before we got there? I agreed to buy a new car if they would take the same amount off the new car to keep the payment about what we are paying now. Our salesman Brian said “why would we take that loss?” Um because you sold me this piece of crap car and you represent GMC and you should have done that for me and then Dealt with GMC on your own. Dealing with them was a nightmare. They could care less about customers, they want the sale and the good survey. After our purchase I cannot tell you how many phone calls and letters I received to give them an excellent survey, it was bordering on harassing. The most disturbing part of the whole story is when we were at the dealership arguing about the car I asked Brian what he was going to do with our car if it worked out. He said “I’m going to re-sell it”. Good thing they didn’t agree to take it back, or the next person after me could have bought this car that had all these issues! Only good thing I can say is the service people are nice and helpful. More

BEWARE!!!!!!! If a deal seems to good to be true...IT IS!!!!! I saw advertisements for a new vehicle showing a very low payment per month after "dealership discounts" ... I called and they said "YES! COM IS!!!!! I saw advertisements for a new vehicle showing a very low payment per month after "dealership discounts" ... I called and they said "YES! COME OVER! GREAT DEALS! BLAH BLAH BLAH" After I got there & did the numbers... the wanted to give me pennies for my trade! (way below KBB) ..then they tell me my payment will be slighly higher than advertised..SLIGHTLY? IT WAS ALMOST 3 TIMES WHAT WAS ADVERTISED!!! Of course I didn't qualify for any of the rebates, or discounts.... I wish they would have told me on the phone, it was unrealistic, so I could have saved an 1.5hr DRIVE! VERY VERY VERY MISLEADING!!!!!!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO COMING IN...there prices are the same as anywhere else, (if not higher!!!) More

That is, "burnt" by their deceptive advertising and bait-and-switch promotions at events like the Labor Day "barbeque". Let me start by saying my comments here do not apply to CFO Eric Bloom who was truly a mensch and who corrected the wrong done to me by Dan Harris, Steve Willis and Steve Brody. I am a senior citizen who, due to unconscionable high pressure sales techniques, lost his vehicle and was forced to drive home in the dark in a new car I didn't want after having signed papers I didn't have a chance to read because the dealership was closing and all the paperwork had to be done in a hurry! They even transferred my personal belongings from my pickup -- which I did not intend to trade --into the 2012 Buick Regal costing $39,000 which I didn't want. I am an educated man with broad life experience, a knowledgeable consumer who does comparison pricing before making a major purchase like a car. How could they have beaten me down to the point where I was willing to confess to murdering the Lindberg baby just to get away from their relentless barrage of psychological manipulation? Dealers tell us, "Balloons sell cars." Bring people on the car lot and don't let them leave without buying a vehicle. Why do you think Kerbeck has the huge American flag flying and little flags on the cars? Kerbeck should fly the flag upside down -- the signal for SOS. Anyone walking onto the lot is fair game like ducks in a shooting gallery. An overhead banner should say, "Abandon all hope you who enter here" as in Dante's xxxx. "We are patriotic Americans!" they want the world to believe. Just don't let your grandmother stop by or they will have her trading her home for an RV she can't drive. Kerbeck teaches its salesmen how to find the psychological vulnerability of the "mark" who walks into the showroom. Then they use it to determine what tactics will be most effective to sell him a car. Techniques of persuasion have been refined since medieval times when they stretched prisoners on the rack and applied thumb screws. Now they call it "psychological manipulation". "No blood on the lot, please, we don't want it to mess up our shiny new cars (and shiny used cars)." It all begins with the "test drive". This is where the salesman convinces you to pick a car, any car, and go with him to look at the grass grow. It really doesn't matter which car you pick because he's not going to sell you that one. The purpose of the test drive is to have some time alone with you to become your buddy, your best old childhood friend. By the way, ever wonder why there are so few female personnel? When you were young and people asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Did you proudly answer "A car salesman!!!! ? Isn't it odd they won't let you test drive a car by yourself? After all, they have your car and a copy of your license. Are they afraid you will steal their car? No, the salesman is in the test drive vehicle to discover your vulnerabilities. He will ask about your marriage, your kids, your favorite football team, where you went to college, what brand of beer you drink, but never who you voted for in the last election. Salesmen will do anything to find a chink in your armor. Remember, you are an innocent dealing with trained professionals. They practice this routine every day, week after week, year after year, until they go back to selling time shares or loan modification scams. You are being led like a lamb to the slaughter, but you don't know it yet. And the salesman is the Judas goat who is conditioned by rewards to lead the other animals into the slaughter house. Oh, yeah, Judas goats are still used in some abbatoirs (fancy word), but mostly they've taken jobs as car salesmen. The minute you respond to any question posed by your co-pilot, you are done for. Of course, you don't know how to drive this car without him seated next to you, yet when you buy it in a few hours, they will force you to drive it home in the dark alone. You've swallowed the bait and the hook is in your mouth. All they need to do now is reel you in to the showroom and strangle you like an anaconda squeezing the breath out of its victim. And they will, believe me. Kerbeck's salesmen are trained in Florida selling time shares. There they learn how to hold people hostage until they agree to pay "only $$$" per month for 30 years to purchase one week each year in a condo they will seldom use. Everyone has at least one intelligent friend who has fallen for the time share scam. How can people be suckered in by these sales pitches? How was I? Do I have "Stupid" tattooed on my forehead? Being locked in a room for four hours with a team of persuaders who never stop talking -- that's how. Kerbeck employs salesmen who are sufficiently amoral as to have no qualms about causing harm to an innocent old man by selling him something he does not want and saddling him with payments he cannot afford for the next six years while his mortgage lapses. After being in business for 100 years, F.C. Kerbeck on Rt. 73 in Palmyra, NJ, whose motto is "Outstanding Customer Satisfaction", has become expert at training its pack of wolves how to go into the forest and bring down their prey. Only here the forest consists of shiny new cars. Ever wonder why those cars shine so much? Won't people buy a dirty car if it is the same model as those selling for thousands of dollars more? Oh, yes, these charming salesmen who greet you at the door with a smile, a firm handshake and immediately begin calling you by your first name even if you are old enough to be their grandfather , will soon convince you to go inside the showroom where they can begin beating you down. Manager and salesman communicate with each other by signals which we mere mortals do not understand. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain, the sales manager in the Tower. Why is the sales manager always smiling? Why doesn't he ever come to the salesman's desk with the customer? Why does the salesman always have to scurry back and forth from you to the man in the Tower to find out if they can give you $100 more for your trade-in (which will then be added to the sticker price for some obscure reason like "dealer prep" or "extended warranty")? With the salesman always facing the Tower, the poor schmuck whose blood they will suck dry is seated facing the car outside he is going to be coerced into buying before he is set free today, unable to see the manager's signals. And, of course, the vehicle he arrived in is no where in sight. I'm not making this stuff up. It's all in "Confessions of a Car Salesman" on Edmunds.com. They single out one car you showed a little interest in. They bring it close to the showroom next to the salesman's desk where you can look at it while he is working your over. Ever wonder why showrooms have all those huge glass windows? They're not for looking into, they are for looking out of! Your salesman will make sure the car you see is the one he gets some special commission on. Why else would he keep pushing a black car when you want a white one? BTW, why are so few sales personnel female? Ever wonder why they won't let you test drive a vehicle by yourself? After all, they have your vehicle and a copy of your license. Are they afraid you will steal the car? No, the salesman is in the car to find out your vulnerabilities. He will ask about your marriage, your kids, your favorite sports team, where you went to college, what brand of beer you drink -- anything to find a chink in your armor. The minute you respond, you are done for. The high pressure salesmen in the Kerbeck showroom use every gimmick invented by cockroaches, including the "four square shell game" where they manipulate figures from one box to another: monthly payment, trade-in, down payment and interest rate. The salesman will never tell you what the real price of the vehicle is until you sign the contract which by then is already typed up! Salesman Dan Harris, Sales Manager Steve Willis, and Finance Officer Steve Brody used fraud, lies, deception, brain-washing techniques so powerful that I let them steal my pickup and bought a car I didn't want. Steve Brody had all the contracts typed up without even discussing with me such important elements as the interest rate, length of loan and even choice of lender. I had no voice whatsoever. Inside my brain I was screaming, but no one heard me. Brody hid the top of the Retail Installment Contract from me while making me sign more than 24 legal documents without time to read them. I wanted to take them and drive home in my own vehicle, but I didn't have that option. Their salesmen are indoctrinated every day with the slogan, "Never let the customer leave the lot without buying a vehicle." One technique they use is holding the customer hostage by removing his vehicle and keeping the keys, instead of returning them so he can leave. Never be afraid to demand to have your keys back within a reasonable time needed to examine your vehicle in the shop for trade-in value. Better yet, go to the shop with your vehicle and hold on to your keys. Don't let them force you to look at just one vehicle that they want to sell. Walk around the lot as long as possible. Do not go into the showroom and sit at a desk with the salesman because he then has all the advantages. It's his turf, not yours. He is controlled by the manager in the Tower, in this case Steve Willis, certainly one of the slickest, most unscrupulous, charming criminals that ever lived. Shakespeare must have been referring to Willis when he wrote that "one can smile and smile and be a villain." Withholding the customer's keys lets them keep you hostage in the showroom until you buy a car. In my case it was a black 2012 Buick Regal for $39,000 (less $5350 for trade-in for my pickup that I did not want to trade!) Conveniently located at foot of Betsy Ross Bridge so you can jump off when you realize what they have just done to you! "FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY CARS FROM F.C. KERBECK" Note: Thanks to Eric Bloom, I was able to have this contract rescinded, get back my pickup and my $5000 deposit. I should have gone to him the day after my purchase, instead of to Steve Willis who lied and stonewalled, all the while smiling and smiling and searching for his next victim. More
