No follow through, lack of customer care I brought my vehicles in for a few different issues and never felt like they were taken seriously. I went to Epic Ford for a few things, but will only make this review on one of the issues I had with them. One of my vehicles body modules needed to be replaced. Wasn’t covered by warranty thru ford but I luckily bought a warranty thru the dealership I bough the vehicle thru (not Epic) just months prior. When I told the service member that was ‘helping’ me about this, he quickly stated how hard it is to get 3rd party warranties to work and it takes for ever. Showing little effort to make this work for me, I gave him the number to the warranty company. He told me he would call them in the morning and give me a call with an update. 4 days go by and I never received a call back. Multiple texts/calls, and even showed up to dealership, no update, or even response. A week goes by, service member says same thing again, ‘I will call in the morning’ Next day I get a text saying the warranty company only covers powertrain work. Being upset and frustrated about this news, I decided to call the warranty company myself and ask some questions. I quickly found out that no one besides my self have called them to ask questions regarding coverage. The warranty rep told me that my coverage would have Indeed covered the issue my vehicle was having! And to make matters worse, my coverage expired within the last week.. I am beyond upset with the lack of follow through and flat out lies that were told, to my face and via text. I am not sure if this is common practice at this dealership or just laziness from this specific service member, but that is unexceptionable from a dealership. More
