STAY AWAY. If you value your money look elsewhere. The methods this service shop employs to part you from your cash is egregious, unjustified, and borderline If you value your money look elsewhere. The methods this service shop employs to part you from your cash is egregious, unjustified, and borderline predatory. Let’s start with pricing. This location presents a $179 charge in labor fees. But that’s what it seems on the surface. In reality, the labor fee grows much larger- astronomically so- when they hand you the receipt. In my case, my vehicle was serviced for 4 and a half hours and cost $2000 in labor- even more so before a so called “discount” (I’ll get to that later). Despite the $179 price tag for labor- the actual cost of labor equaled $450. Why so much? This was hastily explained away as more mechanics performing work, thus driving the cost up (despite only one mechanic being listed on the receipt). $179, already a high number, is a fake and misleading cost. Although the manager claims to derive price numbers from a book, there is absolutely no way to check if protocols are followed correctly. Were there actual multiple mechanics working on my car? If so how long were the multiple mechanics needed? Is it possible that one mechanic assisted only for a short moment, and thus allowed the service station to charge over 2.5 times what they should? Possibly. The issue is- there is NO transparency. Management could lie to your face to charge more, and customers would have no idea. Places like this take advantage of people, especially since the general knowledge on how cars work has been on the decline. They WILL charge you much more than they should, take your car elsewhere and find out. The salesman WILL up-charge you tremendously, and give you a slight discount at the end to make you feel grateful- a predatory tactic to get away with such high costs. Whether they actually repair vehicles effectively, I can’t say. Every. Single. Time. I bring my vehicle in, they find something wrong with it, something that will cost multiple thousands of dollars to fix. Every time. I do not use my car all that much. The mileage is quite low. I do not trust these people that they have the customer's best interest in mind- just their money. Now I can’t accuse them of lying about the state of my car to get me to pay more money, BUT I absolutely do not trust them since there is no transparency. The salesman themselves vary. I have met a few that seem decent enough. And a few that are awful. I can tell when people lie to me and I can tell when people dodge questions. Sleaziness is associated with car salesmen for a reason I suppose. To sum up- don’t come here. Don’t lose money to these legal thieves. Stay. Away. More
