About a month ago I purchased my second car in 4 years from Bay Ridge Nissan. I traded in my '07 Sentra for a new '11 Rogue. The process was real smooth and quick. They gave me the best price I'd seen on from Bay Ridge Nissan. I traded in my '07 Sentra for a new '11 Rogue. The process was real smooth and quick. They gave me the best price I'd seen on the Rogue, more than I was thinking I would get on my trade in, and the salesman Darren was very knowledgeable and informative. This dealership needs a course in Customer service...Hank showed me a car...told me it was 14k and he would give it to me for 13k....I called hime the next day. Its listed as 12k online. This was the worst experience ever, they should be shut down, when you google them you see tons of bad reviews. Never again. More

My husband and I went into Bay Ridge Nissan looking to lease an Altima based on an online promotion. We ended up with Richard and mentioned the ad we saw and he told us that there were many lease options lease an Altima based on an online promotion. We ended up with Richard and mentioned the ad we saw and he told us that there were many lease options and that we should just tell him our numbers and he will see what lease options fit. So we told him the most we could put as down payment and the most we could pay monthly. He leaves his desk, comes back and tells us that he can do exactly that, the most we could afford in down payment and lease payment, without showing us any list of lease options. We explained to him that if we are putting so much down ($3,000 NOT incl. tax, titles, fees), we would want a lower lease payment and vice versa and he tells us that the lease is already so low he was surprised it got approved. When we pointed out that it was actually higher than the online ad he gave such a long-winded, run-around answer that I can't even repeat it. He also told us that the lease term was 42 months but after two years they will send us $3,000 coupons to get us out of our lease (this part was not in writing of course). He then began filling out the lease application and asked us how much we were putting on it, telling us that most people put the entire down payment to "show the bank they're serious" about the lease. We put down much less, and only because it was refundable within 30 days, and he tells us he will call us back when he gets an answer from the bank. I do not know his last name because he did not even give us a business card, he scribbled his phone number on our receipt. The entire time we were with him, he spoke solely to my husband, glancing my way only to ask me if I wanted coffee, otherwise completely ignored me. Forget asking questions, he interrupted me multiple times before I could finish any question, each time giving a long-winded, nonsense answer - to my husband of course because I was apparently invisible to him. We ended up going back a couple of days later, after shopping at another dealership, to request our refund and found out that Richard had not shown up for work that day and had not called. We were given to Shawn who tried to negotiate a lease with us but we explained to him that after being taken for fools by Richard we would be taking our business elsewhere. He tried to say that Richard was inexperienced and agreed that he was trying to advantage of us and something to the effect of "can you blame him?". I will never go back to this dealership and I will make sure to spread the word! More
