Service engine light was on, brought it to a friend to diagnose. My fuel sensor had to be replaced. After some research, i found that this was under warranty. I brought it to this dealership to followu diagnose. My fuel sensor had to be replaced. After some research, i found that this was under warranty. I brought it to this dealership to followup and fix. After chasing down information, I was told I needed a new radiator & trannsmission. (I later found out this did need to be replaced). When I asked for more information, they told me it just needed to be done. All I was told was that a coil broke and leaked and erroded the trannie. They spent 3 days trying to get in touch with Nissan to ensure that all of this was covered by them. I told them I wanted to get my car and was planning on having it checked somewhere else. The service manager actually told me " You cant have your car. we are working on it." when I reminded him, I DID NOT authorize any work, he repeated,"I can not take my car". I called back and spoke to the service advisor and told him I was taking my car, make sure it was ready by 5. I got a call 5 minutes later, telling me that they spoke with Nissan and if I took my car off the lot, they would not be responsible for replacing these items and the warranty replacement would no longer be valid. LIES LIES & MORE LIES. I called Nissan directly, and confirmed what I already knew. They ALSO charged me over $200 for labor on what was just warranty repairs. I ended up taking my car to a dealership 50 miles away where I got amazing service instead. More
It was a generally good experience at Bay Ridge Nissan. Craig (sales-person who helped us) was very helpful, not pushy at all, let us check all the vehicles we were interested in, and very informative. Dwayne, in financing was very patient, informative and helpful. He was able to get us the best deal we could afford and guided us through the whole process without a hitch. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend Bay Ridge Nissan to any of my friends or family and I will go there again for my next vehicle. More

One reason I feel taken advantage of i 1/17/12 This was my first car ever purchased and I left feeling that Bay Ridge Nissan took advantage of me. One reason I feel taken advantage of is that the 2 year warranty I purchased from them (signed for) even though the salesman and financing guy verbally told me the warranty was already factored into the cost, which they quoted me at $12,500, and that the bank financing me was covering the 2 year warranty. I repeat, they said that the bank was covering the warranty and if I wanted to switch banks/financing the car would cost a lot more. I should have stopped and left the dealership right there. The warranty cost me $2,000 even though the financing guy and salesman said the bank was covering that cost. Another reason I'm upset is that instead of the $12,500 I was quoted, the final cost BEFORE tax and registration they listed on the contract at $14,858. This is an extra $2,358 they added into the price of the car without listing on the contract or even verbally telling me where that extra $2,358 came from. So they added a phantom $2,358 to the price of the car. Then they added a $2000 warranty, which they said the financing bank was covering. Once I'd decided on the car I felt pressured to sign the paperwork quickly. Then I was sent to the waiting area where I waited for four hours for them to bring the car around. They did not provide me with any copies of the contracts until they pulled the car around, handed me a packet and said all the information I needed was in the packet. Unfortunately for me, I was rushed to purchase a car for my job. I should have read the contract closer. I should not have believed the salesman. I should not have believed the financing guy. I mistook all the numbers for taxes and mandatory charges. However, I feel obligated to tell the world how Bay Ridge Nissan took advantage of me. When I arrived home I looked at the contract and realized the additional $2,358. I called the salesman and he insisted that it cost $12,500. Additional Note: There was a lady and man in the waiting area with me that kept yelling at the front desk people that the Bay Ridge Nissan had stole $30,000 from them (their car I suppose) and they kept insisting to see the GM. Finally some sales people took the lady and man to an office. More
My overall experience at Bay Ridge Nissan was a positive one. I rated Bay Ridge Nissan well because they showed excellent professionalism and treated me with respect. i came in and worked with Mena. he was the salesman that worked with me. he is very sweet and kind. he helped me and my husband choose the perfect package in our new 2012 nissan rogue. he helped keep us in worked with me. he is very sweet and kind. he helped me and my husband choose the perfect package in our new 2012 nissan rogue. he helped keep us in our budget and he got us in and out the same day with our car. i shopped around at 4 different dealerships and i was getting tired of the same kind of pushy sales people and so many of them are so sleezy but Bay Ridge nissan truly does have exceptional employees. Mitch was the finance manager that did my contract paperwork and dmv and i was in and out. i recommend Bay Ridge nissan to any buyer and i especially recommend MENA to work with More

My friend went to bay ridge Nissan and bought a car from a sales person named Mena. He told me how great he is and how helpful he was so I went to bayridge and asked for Mena at the front desk. As soon as h a sales person named Mena. He told me how great he is and how helpful he was so I went to bayridge and asked for Mena at the front desk. As soon as he came to the front he approached me and my wife with a smile and greeted us like royalty. I didn't tell him that I was a referral of my friend and wanted to see how I would get my treatment. He went over every car with us until we found the perfect car. His name tag says product specialist and that's really what he is. He went over the car with us so well I felt like I knew that car inside out. We told him our budget and he worked with it. After it was all said and done I had my new car the next day cleaned and ready to go. As I was about to drive off I told him how my friend sent me to him and how he was a great salesman and I will be sending him all my friends and family. I highly recommend this dealership and ask for mena when you walk in. Trust me he's the best !!!! More
