We cannot believe what we experienced today when we went into the Empire Ford dealership in Huntington, NY, this afternoon. We went there specifically to purchase a Bronco Sport we found on their lot. Upon into the Empire Ford dealership in Huntington, NY, this afternoon. We went there specifically to purchase a Bronco Sport we found on their lot. Upon entering we were asked if we had an appointment. We told the receptionist that we did not, and she told us she would get someone to help us. We overheard the salesman she spoke with say he is going to have a cigarette. So, we stood there waiting for him to come back. We were not asked to have a seat, or if we wanted a drink or anything. When the salesman, Sean Miller, finished from his cigarette break, he sat with us and seemed nice enough, engaging in some small talk. We asked him the differences between two of the models, he said he would print out the window stickers (so we could read for ourselves). As they were printing he said, “Guys, just so you know, so we don’t waste an hour of each other’s time test driving the car, we are selling these cars for $3,000 over the sticker price.” So, I said, “Well, that will not be the case for us, right?” He then said, “Oh no, it will be. There’s no negotiating.” We were shocked by what Empire is doing. We told him that we were prepared to purchase the car right now and he said, “I’m sorry, but then I guess we don’t have a sale.” We said, “No, we do not.” He then tore up the window sticker printouts he was preparing for us and we walked out. We will never step foot in this dealership again, nor will we advise anyone to go there. More

This review is for the service center. I have used them for 5 years, and it was fine. I spent thousands on maintenance and repairs on my F150 (expected repairs). Within 9 months I had the front and back for 5 years, and it was fine. I spent thousands on maintenance and repairs on my F150 (expected repairs). Within 9 months I had the front and back brakes replaced and the rotors resurfaced. The front rotors warped after 6,000 miles. I had to have new rotors installed for $421 on top of the earlier bill of $370. Then I had the back pads replaced and rotors resurfaced. The rotors warped after 9,000 miles. They quoted replacing the rotors for approximately $600 after I paid close to $400 already for resurfacing/new pads. Why would they suggested resurfacing the rotors if it is not going to last for very long (this is all with 9 months). The Service guy acted aloof when I asked the question. For both sets to warp that quickly seems fishy. I have resurfaced other vehicles in the past with no issues. The truck is no used commercially and does not tow anything. They have lost a longtime customer and probably don't care. More
Found this dealership online had the exact car I was looking for made an appt traveled two hrs from home met Fred the salesman nice guy but had to consult with sales mgr josh as I asked what I could g looking for made an appt traveled two hrs from home met Fred the salesman nice guy but had to consult with sales mgr josh as I asked what I could get the car for. Fred went to the huge elevated desk in the showroom and spent 10 minutes conversing? He came back and quoted the internet price advertised then josh came running over from behind the desk not introducing himself and arrogantly said that,s the bottom line price take it or leave it essentially no discussion we walked out. He was arrogant and rude don,t bother buying here I could only imagine how poor the rest of the services would be. What a waste of time More
ONE STAR TOO MANYI called and emailed this dealership ONE STAR TOO MANY I called and emailed this dealership for a day and a half with no response. I finally called later the second day to put a deposit ONE STAR TOO MANY I called and emailed this dealership for a day and a half with no response. I finally called later the second day to put a deposit on your Mustang Bullitt for $50,437 + tax, tags etc. I asked for a complete price with everything included and the salesman could not give an answer. The next day he called back to say that his “manager” told him to tell me that they wanted 10k more than what is listed on your web site. I was shocked with that response, saying they should honor the advertised price. They said no, but will change the price on the web. I understand completely that a dealer can ask a premium on new cars but a 2020. The dealership’s web should have been updated to reflect the extra 10k. As of today, several weeks later, the website still says $50,437. I buy a least 1 car a year from dealers as far away as California and have never run into this type of deception. (False Advertising). They tarnish the Ford Brand. A letter will be addressed to the dealership’s General Manager, Ford Customer Care, Ford Corporate and Social Media sites. I reviewed the dealership reviews online and I am not alone with my complaint. There is even a one star review that is almost word for word the same as my encounter. I just don’t want this to happen to someone else. I have recently purchased a Bullitt from a reputable dealer My first ever bad dealer rating because I don’t want this to anyone else. If you don’t believe me, read the other ratings More
My review is prompted by a recent service visit, but I should have expected the outcome based on my other interactions with the dealership. I leased a 2020 explorer from the dealership in what I thought should have expected the outcome based on my other interactions with the dealership. I leased a 2020 explorer from the dealership in what I thought would have been an easy transaction. I basically had two requests for the car 1) bench seat in 2nd row 2) trailer hitch. I didn't care about color or other equipment and didn't even request a test drive. Easy deal come back tomorrow and get the car. Great. Came back tomorrow sat for a couple of hours to do the paperwork and then we went out to do a walk around and check out the car. Open the back seat to see bucket seats. Scramble, Scramble, Scramble and several hours later which is now dark outside a new car is brought over and I take the car and leave. Next morning I go out to the drive way to see the car in the daylight....no trailer hitch. Seriously two things, both botched. Salesman paid for installing after market hitch. Car was in the shop several times for glitch on backup camera / media screen. Still glitches. About 13,000 miles into my time with the car I go to Uhaul to rent a trailer to service my snow blower. The Uhaul guy didn't want to rent me a trailer because my rear tire was nearly bald. I called the dealer service and after several days of messages finally got in touch with the manager who told me there was nothing they could do. I replaced both rear tires and a local tire shop. Now another 5,000 miles the tires are almost 1/2 way worn out. I go to tire shop who checks them and says they will happily replace the tires but I should contact Ford to see if we can figure out why the tires are wearing so fast. Hesitantly I go to the service department and I am told that the car is out of alignment (just from driving in not on a machine) and that the wear is probably due to potholes. No accountability or willingness to help. I will return to the tire shop and work with someone who actually cares about customers. From sales to service these guys are the worst. Save yourself headaches and money and find another place to shop. More
