Our experience at Toyota of the Black Hills has been nothing but the most pleasant. Working with Bobby made the experience of car buying easy and understandable. He has great communication skills both verbally and electronically, which made it easy to combine internet shopping with personal and understandable. That was important to us as we live over an hour from the dealership. When we stopped in to shop we were able to test drive with no pressure, and got all of our questions answered fully and honestly. I didnt have the money to buy right away and he worked with me and gave me time i put a deposit down on the car and they held the car for me for alomst a month. When i was ready to come out he told he offered to pick me up at the airport and take to the hotel eventhough the dealership was closed cause it was 9pm. The next day he picked us up at the hotel showed us the car and it was everthing they said it was and more. They introduced us to the managers everybody was amazing at this dealership. The best experience ive had at a dealership. Jerry was the one who we signed everything with and was very helpful. I would fly to south dakota again to buy another car from them. More
We walked into the Toyota dealership never buying anything but Chevy or ford products. Our friend, after much trying persuaded to give Toyota a try, so we finally decided it was time. Every time we took my vehicle for servicing, the service staff was extremely rude. I bought my vehicle in June 2011, and sold it February 2013. On 02/13/13, I brought my 2011 RAV4 into Toyota of the Black Hills for routine servicing. I had been thinking about leasing a 2013 RAV, and while my car was being serviced, I was referred to Joel Weaver. Black Hills for routine servicing. I had been thinking about leasing a 2013 RAV, and while my car was being serviced, I was referred to Joel Weaver. He went over all the logistics of leasing with me, the pros and cons, and took me for a test drive in a brand new 2013 RAV. I was totally blown away by the new design and all of the new features. I was in love and knew that I wanted to "seal the deal." Joel was very forthcoming about all the details and assured me that, given my driving habits, leasing would probably work best for me. I felt Joel was kind, considerate and caring of me and my specific driving needs. He really went out of his way to make leasing my new vehicle a pleasurable and easy experience. He was also very knowledgeable about all of the new features of the vehicle and took the time to explain and show me how everything worked. He introduced me to the personnel in the service department, who were equally as nice. All in all, I would recommend Toyota of the Black Hills to any of my friends or family, and especially Joel Weaver, who I feel is an asset to Toyota. More

Matt spent the entire afternoon with me, which was greatly appreciated. He explained everything in full and was patient with me as I made my decision about purchasing my new Rav4. My experience with Toyota of the Black Hills and Nick Carter, Service Manager was "5 stars". I am living in Rapid City for a month as a visiting Medical Student, hundreds of miles from my home base, whe Carter, Service Manager was "5 stars". I am living in Rapid City for a month as a visiting Medical Student, hundreds of miles from my home base, when my Prius would not start after work one night. I didn't know anyone in Rapid City, am living in a hotel, and had no phone numbers for a tow service, cab service, rental car, etc. I called the Toyota of the Black Hills Service Center and spoke with Nick. They were closing in 10 minutes, and I knew there was no way I could have the car towed to thier site in that amount of time. Nick explained a few of the reasons the car may not be starting, and offered to drive to my location to give me a jump start after work, just in case it was a dead battery. Thankfully he arrived, successfully jump started my car, and I was then able to get it to this dealership the next morning. It was indeed the battery, and Nick arranged for Tom to replace the battery and do an oil-change (it was due for one) while I waited, even though their service schedule was full that day. This was 5 -star service, something so hard to find anymore. Nick went above and beyond the call of duty, saving me towing fees, rental car fees (by servicing the car that day), and cab fees from my hotel to the dealership by jump-starting my car after work and fitting me into the schedule the next morning. I hope Toyota recognizes him for his kind deed. Thank you Nick and Tom. May all of your customers be as appreciative of your fine work! More
