Internet search revealed the dealership had the closest to best price on my new 2013 Subaru Outback. The car is LOADED with options that other dealers weren't offering and for less money. Ever have the feeling of your shoulders hunching to ward off the salesperson that was going to assault you with a barrage of figures and contradictory statements? This wasn't like that at all. Pete was polite, friendly, and answered all of my questions without hesitating. He asked if he could follow up with me and called at times we agreed it was convenient for me. When I told Pete about a competitor's price that was slightly lower, he beat it. I searched the Internet for a better deal in seven different states and couldn't find one. For the first time ever, I actually enjoyed buying a car. Even if you have to drive two hours to get to the dealer like I did, I promise it will be worth your time and save you thousands in cash. My original visit here was for a simple oil change. My car had an airbag light on for about a year, as Suntrup told me the repair would be over $1200.00. After several blunders on the part of Suntrup with regard to servicing my vehicle, I researched which dealership in St Louis had good reviews. Dean Team was at the top of the list. So I took my car there for the oil change. When it came out of service, the airbag malfunction light was off. They fixed it at no charge. Jeff Price took it upon himself to check if the airbag system had a recall on it and there was one. Then he had a tech fix it! I was impressed. This was in October of 2012. Recently (March 2013) my wifes car needed a part. We needed it replaced immediately, as we were about to use her car on a long road trip. Jeff Wahby sent an employee to get the part, got me a car to use from a salesman so I could take care of necessary errands without making my day later while they worked on my car, and got the job done quicker and less expensively than expected. Now I know why the word "team" is in the name. I won't go anywhere else for service. I also bought a pre-owned VW from there sales department and am very happy with the car and the deal I got. More

My wife just purchased a new vehicle a few weeks before from another dealership and we had to deal with the "typical car salesman": pushy, aggressive and he even threatened us if we didn't give him a perfect score on his review. Needless to say we did not give him a perfect score. My experience with John and the Dean Team was the exact opposite. I was made to feel comfortable from the very start and was at no time pressured into something I didn't want. The whole process took less than a few hours (it only took that long because I couldn't make up my mind) and I am extremely satisfied with the service I received. I would highly recommend John Ostlund and Dean Team Volkswagen to anyone who is fed up with the "typical car salesman." More

First of all I was overpriced about a hundred and thirty dollars for brake pads on the rear of my 2009 Pissat , Volkswagen compared to other Volkswagen dealers. I felt it was a total rip-off and the profes dollars for brake pads on the rear of my 2009 Pissat , Volkswagen compared to other Volkswagen dealers. We has the easiest car buying experience with Pete. Once we decided which car we wanted to move forward with, Pete did everything he could to see that we got the best deal and were happy with the final outcome. Pete's customer service was top notch and not pushy at all. His easy going approach is much desired in a field that always gets a bad name. The Dean Team Subaru was professional throughout the whole experience and we will definitely refer friends and family. If the service department is as good as the Sales and Finance, we will for sure buy our next car from them as well. More
