Better than the average dealership! I got 2 used vehicles from them. Suzy the sales person went out of her way when other salesmen at other dealerships wouldn’t. She answered her calls and returned calls to me immediately during the process of buying the cars from out of state. I would give them 5 stars but they need to improve their communication from the sales people to the management a little more. Other than that it was great. They typical used car sales game playing was kept to a minimum. Not to say there was none because there was a little but all dealerships still do to this day surprisingly. They made me a great deal on the vehicles...bottom line is this—Suzy in used sales is highly energetic and will work her xxx off to get you a good deal, I saved a few thousand dollars by going to Dave Smith as opposed to my local Missoula MT car lots, and they got me financed a an even lower rate than I expected! I will be a returning customer. More
Horrible customer service Prices are alright but it’s not worth dealing with the lies and horrible customer service. Quoted me $35,000 on a truck and wrote up a contract for a different price. Asked them to refund my $500 deposit because I never signed anything agreeing to that price. They told me they would listen to the phone calls to follow their protocol and make a decision. Two “managers” (Chad and Phillip) admitted that the salesman never told me the actual price of the truck and that I asked multiple times in the phone call if the truck was $35k out the door and the salesman said yes. Refused to give me my deposit back and proceeded to insult my intelligence and argue with me over multiple phone calls. I asked to speak with one of their superiors and they told me I couldn’t and that they would just tell me the same thing. I’m associated with two multi-million dollar companies that have worked with Dave Smith and will no longer purchase any of their vehicles from them because of the way they have handled this situation. They are now losing out on thousands of dollars in sales because of a $500 deposit. These guys are typical, money-hungry, car salesmen and like taking advantage of women that are trying to buy a vehicle alone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The stress they’ve caused isn’t worth the money I would have “saved” buying a vehicle from them. More

Giving a fair market trade on my 2016 Ram 3500 towards the 2018 3500 and lowest financing available made the decision to trade the right one.
