4th Vehicle We made the 880 mile drive (round trip) once again to beautiful Kellogg Idaho. This is the 4th vehicle that we have purchased from Dave Smith Motors. We made the 880 mile drive (round trip) once again to beautiful Kellogg Idaho. This is the 4th vehicle that we have purchased from Dave Smith Motors. There is a reason that we keep returning, it is because of the service and attention to our needs that keep us coming back. We have never had any regrets with anything that we have purchased there. We worked with Clyde for a sales representative, and as long as he is there, and when we return to buy again we will definitely go through Clyde. We actually made the trip twice during this process and hated to make the trips but it ended up worth it to us. The 1st time he arrived early to work on his day off and had the vehicle in the tire shop addressing a problem, he baby sat the vehicle to make sure it was finished on time and ready when we arrived, and it was. As it turned out it wasn't the vehicle for us. The 2nd time we also passed on the vehicle that we had come to look at. Clyde talked to Ash the finance Manager that we have worked with on all of our vehicles, Ash suggested based on our preferences that maybe we look at a lease on a new Jeep Cherokee. I told them if they could put us where we wanted to be for payments we would look, they pulled it off perfectly and we love our new Jeep and look forward to many more deals with Dave Smith in the future. There is a reason that people travel from all across the United Stated to deal with these people. Value, and respect, as well as a large selection of inventory are only a few reasons. We will be customers for life if it stays the way it is now thanks to Clyde and Ash. Outstanding customer service. More

New Jeep Compass My brand new jeep had a faulty/leaky gas tank and was in the shop for almost a month and a half - Only 2 months after I purchased it. During this tim My brand new jeep had a faulty/leaky gas tank and was in the shop for almost a month and a half - Only 2 months after I purchased it. During this time, I had 7 different rental cars, which was a hassle and a headache, even though it was covered. They had to replace the gas tank and the drive line. After almost a month and a half without my car, I picked it up and almost didn't make it home because there was obviously something wrong (Grinding, uncontrollable revving, squealing etc.). It had to be towed from Coeur d' Alene back to Kellogg the next day. Nobody contacted me letting me know what was wrong with my car or how long I should expect my car to be in the shop the 2nd time. Once I drove to Kellogg to pick up my car for the 2nd time, I got it back with thick greasy/muddy hand prints along the tan interior above and around my door. I feel Dave Smith has so much business and inventory that they are unable to give good customer care, and make sure that the cars they work on are taken care of. I also couldn't help but notice the gouges in between the window and the doors. It was brought to my attention when someone noticed it and said "what happened?" I was told this was from the screw driver they used to pry the doors off when installing window tint. I am disappointed with my new car purchase, as I didn't expect it to have damages already.. The price may be a steal, but I would have paid more somewhere else would I have received a car in better condition from the get go. More

As soon as I arrived at the dealership Hunter Turner, "my sales rep" was there and waiting for my arrival. After getting the paperwork done and a few cups of coffee from their cool mocha machine I was ready to head back home to the Big Sky Country! From the shuttle van driver, sales rep, accessories, service and finance department all very professional employees! I made the 700 mile trip back home very satisfied! More

I received in the mail another set and partial payment to get the key programmed. all of this could have been done while we were a there, but it took 2 weeks, and stressful communications with other people at the dealership to get it straight. like I told the salesman. your sale is not final until everything is fulfilled, apology not accepted. special thank you very much to Glenda Farley who was a lot oh help. elbi Zarate 2534312010 More

Drove to pick up the truck and they gave an additional 500.00 on my trade in when they saw it was in good condition. Very fair, honest with no pressure. More
