Far exceeded expectations from beginning to end! This was only the second time I've bought a car from a dealership, and I hadn't dealt with one in 8 years. My husband has bought two vehicles in that time, and didn't have great experiences either time. So I didn't really know what to expect, but I was thinking it might not be such a fantastic experience. I am SO glad I went to Darling's Used Vehicle Center, and I'm even happier that I was connected with Kyle for my sales person. I went in on a Saturday morning and was test driving the vehicle I wanted within a half hour. Kyle was very professional and attentive while still maintaining a quick witted sense of humor. He was quick to run figures for me and did everything he could to get the numbers to where I needed them. Everything was cut and dry and very ethical! He was warm and welcoming to my husband and daughter as well. The really great part of my experience came when I took delivery of the vehicle. Nothing like this happened when I bought a car 8 years ago or when my husband bought a truck from a non-Darling's dealership. Kyle sat with me for over an hour showing me every feature of my new GMC Terrain. The knowledge he has of every vehicle is amazing, and he really cared about me being able to use all the features of the vehicle. He makes it very clear that you can call him with any questions after purchase. Amy also made the paperwork process seamless. Everything was prepared for me, it only took about 20 minutes to complete. I would absolutely work with Darling's and especially Kyle again in the future. More

Helped me with what i needed when nobody else would! I spent my whole weekend at dealerships trying to find the right car, for the right price, by the end of the day i was completely discouraged or had b I spent my whole weekend at dealerships trying to find the right car, for the right price, by the end of the day i was completely discouraged or had been shut down by dealers, until i walked into Darlings and was sat down, talked to, and they listened and actually WANTED to help me! Kyle sat down with me for hours to get everything on the table and explained everything clearly since i was a first time car buyer and had no idea what i was really getting into. When i left that night there were still a veiw bumps in my path so i left thinking i was not leaving there with a car, but sure enough Kyle and the rest of the people at Darlings came through and did what they said they were going to! I never thought i would deal with such awesome people and have such a great, well explained, helpful, and the best expeirience i could have asked for. It's definitely nice to sit down and talk with people who try and get it and see where you're coming from. Nothing is more comforting and trusting than people talking to you like you're a real person vs. just a customer looking for a car. Happy i decided to go to that one last dealership on my list! Top shelf from start to finish! To begin with, I originally wanted to purchase this vehicle in late June, 2014. Unfortunately, I was not really in a place to make the purchase then because I was not really in the market. I stopped in because I was in Bangor for a conference and decided to spend my lunch looking at all the things people traded in for your annual trade in sale. I saw the truck and fell in love. Fast forward to mid last week when I really felt that I did not want to spend another winter without a truck that could do it all and in comfort and style. I looked over your inventory and saw a truck that I felt might be the same truck I looked at in June. I placed an inquiry online late Friday evening and early Saturday I got the call from Kyle. I explained to him that I was interested in coming in to purchase the truck if it was the same one. He confirmed it was and I told him I was going to come down after lunch. He did explain that someone was currently trying to purchase it but would call me if it was still available. Needless to say I was on the way there when he called to tell me he had pulled the keys for my arrival. This sale was not an easy process, it took several days, mostly because I had to accept that my current truck, while I knew it be exceptional, was not worth what I owed. During all this reflection, my sales person Kyle remained committed, professional and above all supportive and understanding of the process I was going through. We started on a Saturday and I finally took delivery on Thursday, which I expect is not the normal process for a used car purchase. Additionally, each person that I dealt with during the process was excellent, even down to the driver who had to unfortunately chase my wife's signature to southern Maine because of some previous plans that we were unable to change in an effort to close this deal for me. The financing manager (?) Amy Nye was also very professional and efficient. She made sure that the entire transaction was smooth and even got my wife to include GAP insurance which was a solid recommendation. All in all it really could not have gone better. I have wanted a truck like this for a very long time, and Darlings made it a reality. Although we are not in the market for a car for my wife at this time, believe me my first call will be to Kyle to see what he recommends and if there is anyway possible, we will buy from him again. More

Jesse greated us and asked us about everything we wanted and within 10 minutes he had us looking a vehicle that I instantly fell in love with!! Jesse worked very hard with Amy and we were able to leave that day with it!! It was such a great experience. I would recommend Jesse and the whole team there to all of my family and friends. They go way beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. I felt very comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. We will definitely go back when we are in need of another vehicle! More

We had the best experience we have ever had at a car dealership. So when we wanted to trade in our 2011 Chevy HHR Kyle Veinote was the first call an only call we made. We let him know that we were looking for a suv or something with room that was going to accommodate our 4 dogs. We wanted to keep the payments as close to the current price we were paying. An that it was going to be good on gas. We ended up really liking and wanting 2013 Nissan rogue. Well we knew it might be a problem with financing because the vehicle before the HHR was traded in due to it died an was to much money to fix. So we had some extra money from that vehicle added on to the loan of the HHR. With that we were worried that this car we really wanted was not going to happen. But true to form Kyle Veinote, his boss, an Amy Nye made it happen. They went above an beyond what any other dealership would do to make it happen. The atmosphere in the building is awesome ( pet friendly) the other sales personal are friendly, nice an you are treated like family. I would recommend anyone over an over again to go their to get a vehicle. Thanks again for the epic experience!! More

After doing all the paperwork the deal had a glitch with our financial institutions monetary parameters. It looked as though we wouldn"t be getting the truck after all. But Kyle Veinote, who is a terrific guy and we would recommend him to any and all of our friends, managed to make the truck fit the finance parameters and we left the dealership with the truck and a new friend. Thank you so much Kyle. Also not to leave Amy Nye out because she also went the extra mile for us. Our next vehicle will be bought at Darlings Pre_owned vehicles. Many thanks. More

Over and beyond.... I have worked with Darlings several times in the past and Ron Russell is my go to guy for anything that I may need. I have known Ron for a very long t I have worked with Darlings several times in the past and Ron Russell is my go to guy for anything that I may need. I have known Ron for a very long time and I trust him with the safety of my family and know that he would help me find what I needed this time around. Ron set me up with Kyle and he began to help me the same day calling me that evening. I met with Kyle and ended up with a vehicle that I felt would fit my needs and left with it the same day. This vehicle ended up not being the car of my dreams and was not a match for what my family dynamic warranted. I let Kyle know and he communicated with me about what I needed and what I didn't like about the vehicle I had and I truly felt that he cared about me and my family. Together with much communication, we found a better match for what I really needed. Kyle let me test drive the car for as long as I needed and I was able to get my entire family involved ( including my growing 6 foot 3 teenager who is now driving......) I made the decision to purchase this additional car and trade in the one I bought the month before. I would not have been able to do so with Kyle's help and now I have a vehicle that I truly love. Kyle also took my call when I had a question after the fact. He certainly goes over and beyond for his people. I'm happy to know him and so glad Ron suggested that he work with me. Ron is one of my favorite people and its good to know that he is still the best !!!!! More

Amazing Experience!! I had already made two attempts to finance a vehicle and was turned down both times, so I started out looking to purchase a cheap vehicle good enough I had already made two attempts to finance a vehicle and was turned down both times, so I started out looking to purchase a cheap vehicle good enough to get by for now. I was completely skeptical when Kyle started talking to me about a finance program through Darling's, but he made me believe I had a chance so I decided to try one more time. Today I am so happy I did! Kyle definitely worked some magic and not only found me a vehicle that day but also a second chance at repairing and improving my credit. When people talk about good customer service Kyle belongs in a special bracket way higher. Kyle even brought the car to my work so I could see it and test drive it before moving forward with the financing. He took the time to answer my questions and questions my mother had as well. Now I have a car that I can feel safe driving and be happy with for a couple years, plus the chance to improve my credit, which would NOT have happened without Kyle or the Darling's family. I will absolutely return there to purchase my next vehicle and I hope to work with Kyle and Amy again. They are awesome!! Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel out of place at all.
