Drove 10 hours with my dogs After buying a farm in Maine, I needed to upgrade my truck for towing my alpacas. I continued to look online and requested info on F350's from vari After buying a farm in Maine, I needed to upgrade my truck for towing my alpacas. I continued to look online and requested info on F350's from various dealers in the area and Darling's was the only one to contact me, so I made an appointment and drove from Baltimore to Bangor with my dogs. Once I arrived at Darling's I was greeted by a very friendly staff and offered coffee until my salesman Dustin came in from clearing snow. I came to see a 2006 F350 I saw online but before showing me the truck, Dustin first wanted to find out more about me and my needs to see if they had anything else available in my budget. As we were ready to go see the 2006 F350, Bob and his staff found a 2011 F350 that was just traded in and being inspected across the street, so Dustin and I went to see that truck first. The mechanic doing the inspection was very friendly and willing to answer questions about the truck and his findings. After seeing this newer truck with a more powerful engine and only 20,000 more miles , I knew it was the truck for me. Dustin and I went back to the office and start the paperwork. He then introduced me to Amy to complete the financing. Amy was very nice and easy going and made the financing stress free. I love my 2011 F350! It made the trip from Baltimore with my dogs well worth the purchase. The smooth ride and extra power is great. I will definitely use Darling's again. My overall experience with Darling's was fantastic. I felt like I have known them for years instead of one day. If you are looking for a pre-owned vehicle, you have to go to Darling's first and ask for Dustin. He'll treat you like family! More

I adore my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan I went to a local dealership that promised they financed every single person regardless of credit. I was very upfront and honest about my credit history. I was made to believe there was hope for financing but, I got a call about an hour later denying me with no explanation. I was a hesitant to look at Darlings but, I was told they had some options for people with bad credit. I was scheduled to meet with Alan to try out a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. They had the van all pulled up and ready for me when I got there. Alan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He never once made me feel pressured to try out any other cars (I loved the van the second I got behind the wheel). He took time to explain all the bells and whistles before I took off for my test drive. It was like spending the afternoon chatting with an old friend. That’s how relaxed and easy going he made this very high stress situation. I cannot say enough good things about him. On top of that he never once made me feel like Darlings wouldn’t be able to help me get into a new car. Even after explaining my credit situation the attitudes in the office didn’t change toward me (like I had experienced in the past). I was approved through a second chance program! Amy was also fantastic! She explained every single document and went over any additional options with me. Even if you have poor credit do yourself the favor and at least chat with them! I’ll be going back when the time comes for another car! More

And Bob, well he was doing his job in the background which is to try to make the most on the sale. In the end our negations gave me almost the deal I was looking for when I walked in the door. Looked at what they had and decided none of it was what I was looking for or could comfortably afford. Went next door and met Joe Doucette, he showed me the inventory they had at that location and I found a deal I couldn't pass up. By this time it was getting late, most people had gone home, while doing the paperwork with Amy Nye ( who was well prepared and ready for us to expedite our signing process ) the truck needed to be detailed but those employees had left. Joe took it upon himself to take the truck fill the gas tank and wash and detail the truck so I could take it home that night. Not only did they make you feel comfortable during the daunting task of car shopping, but they were friendly, knowledgable and professional. Never mind going above and beyond the duties of the salesman. if your in the market for a pre-owned vehicle I highly recommend visiting here first. Walk in and ask for Joe, you won't be disappointed.
