I knew I wanted another Honda, and being a colle I recently started a lease on a 2017 Honda Civic LX after deciding it was time for my CR-V to retire. I knew I wanted another Honda, and being a college student with a tight budget, I decided to lease. Joe assured me that the Civic was going to give the most for my money and at first I was unsure..I thought it would be too small. I test drove one and fell in love! It had much more room than I thought and doesn't have the "inexpensive base model" feel. Joe made my first car buying experience easy, stress-free and enjoyable. He truly cares about his customers and really wants what's best for you. He will give his honest opinions and inputs and make sure you leave happy and satisfied with your new purchase! Lee Lorigan was very personable and made the financial aspect very understandable and pleasant. He recommended that I get the Access Wear & Tear Warranty, which covers "up to $5000 worth of any eligible excess wear and tear charges". This was an extremely affordable assurance for my lease, making me just that more sure about my choice! I can not say enough great things about my experience at Darling's Honda Nissan Volvo, I will always come back for all my car needs. Excellent Communication Skills I have been looking for a Volvo 2015.5 XC70 model that has been in high demand. I saw the exact model on Cargurus with a location of Darlings Volvo in I have been looking for a Volvo 2015.5 XC70 model that has been in high demand. I saw the exact model on Cargurus with a location of Darlings Volvo in Bangor, Maine. I called the dealership and was put in contact with Chris McCue in Sales. he said the vehicle was a recent arrival and would answer any questions I had about the vehicle. He did some research and answered all of my questions. He made a couple of walks to the vehicle to answer some additional questions I had. I decided put a deposit on the vehicle to hold it until I could drive up to Bangor to see and test drive the vehicle. Chris put me in touch with a business person who processed the deposit. I arranged an appointment to come up in a few days. Later I did some research on Kelly Blue Book as to what I could expect for my XC60 which I purchased a couple of months ago. Unfortunately the numbers did not work in my favor. I called Chris the next day and advised him as much as I wanted the Volvo I could not swing it. Chris said he would contact the business office and arrange for a credit for my deposit. Later that day he called me back to say I would be seeing a credit in a day or two on my account. He said to contact him if there were any problems. Although I did not purchase the vehicle I was impressed with Chris's professionalism, and excellent communication skills, and sincerity. I love my new car, and the experience dealing with Sarah while figuring out what car would work best for my family was extremely positive. I got a great deal on my vehicle and I feel good supporting Darlings, not only because of the excellent staff, but because of all of the money that darlings puts back into the community. I see vehicles all over town that Darlings has donated to non-profits and the school that I teach at was gifted money towards project graduation,. When I went to actually pay, I walked into another Darings building through a garden that had been planted by and cared for by the staff, they plan to donate all the vegetables to the local food bank. Darlings is extremely thoughtful and a business that makes our communities better, I wish this mindset was more of a norm. Thank you Sarah and the Darlings family. More
