Excellent Communication Skills I have been looking for a Volvo 2015.5 XC70 model that has been in high demand. I saw the exact model on Cargurus with a location of Darlings Volvo in Bangor, Maine. I called the dealership and was put in contact with Chris McCue in Sales. he said the vehicle was a recent arrival and would answer any questions I had about the vehicle. He did some research and answered all of my questions. He made a couple of walks to the vehicle to answer some additional questions I had. I decided put a deposit on the vehicle to hold it until I could drive up to Bangor to see and test drive the vehicle. Chris put me in touch with a business person who processed the deposit. I arranged an appointment to come up in a few days. Later I did some research on Kelly Blue Book as to what I could expect for my XC60 which I purchased a couple of months ago. Unfortunately the numbers did not work in my favor. I called Chris the next day and advised him as much as I wanted the Volvo I could not swing it. Chris said he would contact the business office and arrange for a credit for my deposit. Later that day he called me back to say I would be seeing a credit in a day or two on my account. He said to contact him if there were any problems. Although I did not purchase the vehicle I was impressed with Chris's professionalism, and excellent communication skills, and sincerity. I got a great deal on my vehicle and I feel good supporting Darlings, not only because of the excellent staff, but because of all of the money that darlings puts back into the community. I see vehicles all over town that Darlings has donated to non-profits and the school that I teach at was gifted money towards project graduation,. When I went to actually pay, I walked into another Darings building through a garden that had been planted by and cared for by the staff, they plan to donate all the vegetables to the local food bank.
