I give excellent ratings because I have had absolutely wonderful experiences at Darlings. This is my 2nd Honda purchased there. I wouldn't buy a car anywhere else. The service department is excellent - friendly people, excellent mechanics, always prompt and courteous. There has never been a question about what was or wasn't done for my car - and I especially appreciate the checklist presented to me at the end of each service call. Scott Larrabee is an excellent sales representative for Darlings. He knows the cars - he knows options - he knows how to deal with people. Scott treats me with respect - unfortunately that's rather unusual treatment for a single woman in the car-purchasing market. He went out of his way to make sure I understood the workings of my new car and the workings of the whole purchase process. He periodically "checks in" with me to answer any questions and offer further services. Dave Noto, who was the salesman with my 1st Honda and the finance person on my 2nd, is equally outstanding. He walked me through the purchase process, explained everything thoroughly and went the extra mile to ensure my needs were met and questions answered. I've purchased a number of cars in my lifetime (I'm 50+ years old) - and I can honestly say that I've never felt so positive or secure about buying a car until I went to Darlings. I recommend Mr. Larrabee & Mr. Noto to family & friends - and I will be returning to them when the time comes to trade in. In the meantime - you'll find me returning to Darlings Service Dept anytime required. More

This was my third purchase/lease in the past three and a half years from this dealership. Over several emails and at least three visits, I received what I consider a great offer on a lease of a new Nissan F half years from this dealership. Over several emails and at least three visits, I received what I consider a great offer on a lease of a new Nissan Frontier. Yes - it is possible to get a good deal for the purchaser and the dealership - never forget that you are dealing with a business and they need to make money also - but I do consider I got the best deal possible during this transaction - surpassing what most websites had advised after much research over several weeks. Scott Larrabee went above and beyond being a sales associate. He gave me his business card which included his cell phone number. Three months after purchasing my new Nissan, Maine's winter weather was associate. He gave me his business card which included his cell phone number. Three months after purchasing my new Nissan, Maine's winter weather was in full force. When the cruise control would not work twelve hours prior to a twenty-three hour trip to Missouri, panic set in. On a Sunday afternoon, Scott never hesitated picking up my phone call. He even called a technician to get advice on my problem. Luckily, my problem was short lived and due to the snow building up in the wheels. Once that was cleared, my cruise control was back up and running. Drew was very polite and friendly. Kept me informed of what was going on. When we leased the car we did take out an extended warranty/service plan. We were told that it would cover ALL of our maint. To my surprise it was NOT covered! I spoke with Ed the service manager. He was polite and aplogized. The service part was great, but I will NEVER purchase anything extra when this lease is up.
