Exceptional Car Buying Experience I purchased a vehicle at Darlings, in the Waterville store, shortly after arriving back home from Iraq in 2004. The sales team was great and made sure I purchased a vehicle at Darlings, in the Waterville store, shortly after arriving back home from Iraq in 2004. The sales team was great and made sure that I drove away with exactly what I wanted. 13 years later I came back to Darling's, now in Augusta, and received the same great customer service! Peter was attentive to my wife and I and went out of his way to ensure we had every opportunity to test drive any vehicle we wanted. They were more than fair on our trade in, and Peter answered all questions while also allowing my wife and I adequate time to discuss things in private in a beautiful sales and service facility. He wasn't pushy yet paid attention to all of our wants and needs. It was a great experience from the initial handshake to the final handshake...we'll be back to Darling's for our normal service schedule and will certainly go back when we look for our next vehicle...lifelong customers! They worked with engineers at Hyundai to correct the issue and the repairs were covered by the warranty. Everyone at Darlings is friendly, accommodating and great to work with. They are great with their follow through, calling to keep us updated on their efforts, the status of the parts order and to schedule the work to be done. I can not express enough how nice it was to be able to ask a question and get a straight answer. Paul heard me and listened to what I was saying. The level of customer service I received can not even be compared. I am a shopper and I had spent months researching and looking, knowing exactly what I wanted and even though I gave other dealerships (from Maine to New Hampshire) my specific requests: Subaru Crosstrek, under 40k, sun/moon roof and a roof rack other dealerships would contact me with a vehicle that had some of my requests or another vehicle altogether. I never felt like anyone was listening. But Paul heard me, and he listened. I couldn't have asked for an easier transaction. His customer service is above and beyond anything I have experienced with other dealerships. When I bought my car it had been raining for days and it wasn't until I had pulled into a parking garage that I noticed a tiny chip in the windshield when I mentioned it to Paul he looked at it and said "we'll take care of it" and he arrange for me to bring my car in at my convenience. Just like that. I couldn't have been more impressed. More
