We had been quite awhile since buying a new vehicle and pretty stressed about the thought of it. When we arrived and met Paul that all went away. Paul talked with us for about three hours showing and explaining everything to us we joked shared stories and laughed. It just felt right and I'll never forget that. We thought it was a good time to consider replacing it and went to Consumer R Our Toyota pickup truck had over 120K miles and needed electrical work. We thought it was a good time to consider replacing it and went to Consumer Reports for information about the 2017 1/2-ton pickups on the market. Ram was one of the two trucks that looked right for us. Before heading to dealers we listed the features we wanted in a new truck. When we arrived at Darling's, a saleman, Paul Watson, offered to help us, and we presented our list. He was knowledgeable about his inventory and found 4 or 5 vehicles for us to look at. One of these was an excellent match, and out test drive impressed us. We wanted that truck but couldn't have our present truck available for trade for a week or more. Paul worked with us to choose equipment we wanted added, started the process, and held the truck until we could bring in our old one. He even came in on his day off when our truck was ready to trade. Since we took posession he has facilitated rust-proofing and treatment for the upholstry as well as checked to see if we had any other concerns. Attention without pressure served us well. More

Positive experience I had leased a 2016 Ford Focus SE from Yankee Ford in South Portland. The car turned out to be a lemon and I got very little support from Yankee Ford I had leased a 2016 Ford Focus SE from Yankee Ford in South Portland. The car turned out to be a lemon and I got very little support from Yankee Ford and Ford Motor Company. I explained to Paul my predicament and he rose to the challenge! Paul stood with me through the entire process,which became a horror show the likes of a Stephen King novel. In the end, Paul's hard work and support put me in a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Night. Paul listened intently to what I was looking for in a vehicle and not looking for. He was extremely honest and upfront with me through the entire process. Due to Paul's hard work, he was able to get me out of the horror show that was the 2016 Ford Focus SE and lowered my monthly payment by $30. The vehicle I chose also lowered my auto insurance by a considerable amount. Paul also made sure that I was comfortable with all the features in my new vehicle. I would highly recommend Paul Watson to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Jay Darling should be extremely grateful to have a salesman of Paul Watson's caliber on hand. Kuddos also go out to Tim Carlson and Nate Marquis in finance, GM Lance Quinn for helping to make a rough start last Wednesday end on a high note. It had been a few years since I had last bought a car and my credit and lifestyle had drastically changed since that time. I had an acquaintance refer me to Peter Dionne. I am so glad he did. Peter was very patient with me, he never made me feel pressured. And best of all you told me about a low mileage used car that was in excellent condition. He didn’t have it at the dealership the day I went but was very flexible in meeting with me after The Thanksgiving holiday. I drove home in the most Glorious Red Sonata this afternoon. The whole process has been Joyous! I’m still pinching myself!!! More

Peter Dionne ( and the knowledgable staff assisting him) made our recent purchase both satisfying and timely! It was truly a pleasure dealing with Peter, he did exactly what he said he would do and no surprises at the time of signing. This was our 7th Hyundai, and if the customer service is as good as the sales department, it will not be our last! More

They treat me like a friend, not just another customer and I always feel welcomed. I have bought several vehicles here and been satisfied with every one. I’ve had several different salesmen and each one has been excellent. They all made the buying process really easy and always follow-up after the sale. As an example, I recently bought 2 vehicles in 2 weeks. A 2018 Durango and a 2014 Challenger (my “Dream Car”)! Paul Watson, Jim Engelhart and Lance (?) were all instrumental in getting me this car just because I mentioned that I missed one that I had previously owned! If they had not called me about this car, I would not have it. It’s perfect and I couldn’t be happier. I’m a loyal Darlings customer and will recommend them to anyone! More
