Excellent dealer I had been looking for a particular color combination (Pamplona red with beige interior) on a new Hyundai Genesis and the local dealer a mile from my I had been looking for a particular color combination (Pamplona red with beige interior) on a new Hyundai Genesis and the local dealer a mile from my house said that color is very hard to find. He had my second choice on his lot and using Truecar he gave me a very good price on it. I told him I really wanted the red, see how long it would take if I ordered it and how would it affect the price. I never heard back from them, so I went on Hyundai's web site and use their vehicle locator, turns out there was the exact car I wanted at Danbury Hyundai (I live in Wilmington, MA). I called the dealer and talked to a sales associate, Sebastian Merino. I explained the situation and asked if they would match the price that I had gotten locally, he said they definitely would. This was on a Saturday, I put a deposit on a credit card told him I just needed to get the funds together and would fly down later in the week. Sebastian called back an hour later and told me they would send a driver to pick me up if I wanted, they would charge $100 and add it into the price for the car (it was 170 miles and the price to fly was $220), I agreed and we made arrangements for the Following Thursday. The driver arrived right on time, he drove me to the dealer and an hour later I was on my way home with my new car, it was one of the most painless car buying experiences I have ever had (aside from writing the check). I highly recommend Danbury Hyundai, they never pressured me into anything and made it very easy to do business with them. More

By far the best car buying experience I ever had. My wife and I both agree that Danbury Hyundai was by far the best car dealership we have ever been to, hands down. We negotiated the price off the internet with Mark Santaromita, and Danbury beat every other Connecticut Hyundai dealer’s best price by hundreds of dollars. We did visit Meriden Hyundai first when we were ready to purchase as it was closer to our house. What a horrible experience with Meriden. We were lied to about the current miles of the vehicle and the options included, and were pressured to make a decision right there about whether to purchase. We ended up walking away from Meriden and decided to take a long drive down to Danbury to see the vehicle we were offered. THANK GOD WE DID. When we arrived, the vehicle we were inquiring about was already waiting outside for us to inspect. My wife and I were both skeptical about the options and the miles after being lied to by other dealerships we drove to, but there were no surprises at Danbury. The vehicle was just like the internet said it would be and the miles were exactly as Mark said they were. There was no haggling involved, there was no pressure to take the deal today or it would be off the table. Mark gave us space to speak with my wife with no pressure and let us take a test drive of the vehicle we negotiated. No pressure, no surprises, we shook hands and made a deal within 15 minutes of walking into the dealership. He even gave us an unexpected great deal on our 13 year old Hyundai that we thought we were going to donate. We were pre-approved by my credit union before we purchased the vehicle, and when we made the deal my credit union was closing in 10 minutes. We thought we would have a new car the next day when my credit union opened, but were told financing may be able to match our credit unions rate. I must admit, both my wife and I were skeptical about financing at the dealership. We were waiting for Mike in financing to tell us he could get us close to the credit union's APR and then trying to talk us into signing a loan that was close to what my credit union offered, "but only 10 more dollars a month" to drive our new car home that night. My wife and I were waiting for the surprise or the catch but it never came. Mike did not match the APR, he BEAT IT! It only took 20 minutes to sign the paperwork in financing (and that was mostly because the computer system was down), and that was it! Mark told us to go to dinner, come back in an hour, and our new car would be detailed and ready to go. The DMV computer was down for some reason when we were getting ready to leave. My wife and I were both thinking that we would be picking up the vehicle the next day since the DMV computer was down, but Mark said the registration was all set in the computer and went the extra step to give us a dealer plate just in case. He mailed our registration overnight to us the next day when the DMV computer finally came back online, with a return envelope for the plate so we didn't have to drive back down. I do not know any other dealership that would do that. My wife and I drove our brand new Santa Fe off the lot 3 hours after visiting the dealership (with an hour dinner included) and could not be happier with the car. The Danbury Hyundai staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to go the extra mile. The next time I but a car, I will not even waste my time going to other dealerships. Danbury Hyundai just gained a repeat customer. They are highly recommended! More

There was a Hyundai dealership right up the block from my home (Curry Hyundai), which I had purchased 2 previous Hyundais. However, the salesman didn't care whether I purchased my car there or not. I don't know how they stay in business! I drove many miles to get to Danbury Hyundai, and it was worth it! More

He did as much as he could without my ever having to step into the dealership because I lived an hour away, which was really fantastic. While I obviously won't use them for service since they are so far away, I would highly recommend them for their sales people. More
