Beware the wheel locks Mr. Mancillo did an excellent job of overseeing the servicing of this vehicle. The job was done with this dealership's customary high competence. One problem: This is my third service visit since buying the vehicle last year, but it was the first time that I learned that lug-nut locks were on each wheel. Apparently, on previous visits, the technicians simply used the in-house master key to unlock and rotate the wheels. On this visit, the wheel rotation was impossible, because the in-house master key was broken, and I did not have my key along. My key to the wheel locks has been sitting in my basement since I bought the car, because I did not think I needed it. This lack of a key might have been disastrous if I had a flat tire on any of my trips, including trips hundreds of miles from home, b/c I would not have been able to change the tire. This was brought home to me on the way home when I picked up a screw on the road that punctured one of my tires. I took it in to a repair shop to fix the punctured tire, but the shop could not fix the tire without the key. Last night, I located the key in the basement. This morning, I pumped up my tire with my emergency air pump, and then I drove to the repair shop, which fixed the tire. The shop also removed all of the wheel locks, so this problem will not recur. Moral of the story: When you install wheel locks on a vehicle, you need to tell your customers about them, so these people are prepared for the complications. More

Top Notch Service. Period. A complete 180 from my first experience with the service department; albeit, to be fair, they were in transition and were working out the kinks.
