I did have some interest in a KIA but the salesperson I did have some interest in a KIA but the salesperson didn't listen to me and tried to strong arm the sale. I ultimately bought elsewhere. The even don't have my name right. Like I would ever buy from someone who can get customer info right. DON'T give them any information about you it will be used by ALL their dealers and you will be called during work hours constantly. unsubscribing doesn't work either. Their "customer relations" couldnt even find me in their system yet I keep getting calls and emails. I bought elsewhere and got a great deal. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!! More
I walked into this dealership KNOWING I didn't want to buy a car from them because after researching online, I was pretty sure they didn't have what I was looking for. That ended up being true, but Armen and Andrew went out of their way to make sure they could get what I wanted. I had test-driven the car I wanted earlier in the day at a different dealership (Apple Ford), but I didn't like the way I was treated by the cocky salesman there and how he was absolutely unwilling to deal with the price on the car I was looking at and talking to me like I was flat-out stupid. So I ended up going to DARCARS Ford just so I could cover all my bases and do the proper price shopping before I made a purchase. As I mentioned before, they didn't have the particular car, but once I let Armen know what I was looking for, he found the exact car I wanted and Andrew gave me a better price than the dealer I was at earlier that morning. Since the car wasn't in stock, yes, I had to wait, but they supplied me with a loaner until I was able to pick up car I had requested. Ak in financing was great to work with as well, and he came in early on his shift the day I was able to pick up the car (today) so he could help me get everything in line. I picked her up today, and I'm very satisfied with the car...exactly what I wanted. Bottom line is, this was my first new car. Armen, Andrew and Ak went out of their way for me and gave me a good deal on what I wanted. They really seemed to put forth more effort into getting me the car and I would highly recommend DARCARS Ford to anyone in Maryland. Thanks again, fellas. Russ K. More

Leaving for a long roadtrip and after two days of being shot down by other service shops for being to late (1 hr before close) last resort, Darcars Ford. I pull up, to be told, they stop taking cars two hours ago. I explained my dilemma and mechanic Jeff along with Shane were so gracious to help me out. I'm ever so grateful b/c they could've turned me down like everyone else. Truly angels who saved me from doing something reckless, like getting on the road without an oil change. Thanks so much,you will be my first choice from now on! And may I add, I still was out before close, can't beat that! More
Not sure how a page of glowing 5s and a page of scathing 1s average out to 4.9 but... I took my truck in for a recall and inquired about a tapping. They promised they would look into it. 23 days later they 1s average out to 4.9 but... I took my truck in for a recall and inquired about a tapping. They promised they would look into it. 23 days later they said it was ready...yes 23 Daaays!The next day I returned with the same tapping and was given an appt the next week as if they had never seen me or my vehicle before. After over 3 weeks poreviously these guys were able to diagnose that I either, had no problem at all and the tap was normal or according to a suddenly available service bulletin was due to possibilities that were nOT what they had performed during the first visit. They also speculated it was a different noise. I have heard it for months and the tech heard it before the first repair(i use that term loosely) and my return. It WAS the same tap. Either that or I miraculously had a failure with the same resulting tapping in less than 60 miles after picking up the truck. If you have ANY choice whatsoever, stay away from DARCARS Lanham uness you are feeling lucky or the repair is a no-brainer. More
This dealership has the perfect team in place,from the sales team of Samuella and Ramin, the finance assistance from AK, and the body shop follow up by Ryan. You couldn't wish for a better experience fro sales team of Samuella and Ramin, the finance assistance from AK, and the body shop follow up by Ryan. You couldn't wish for a better experience from this dealership. Samuella personally followed up on the sale. We discovered a wee ding in the car before driving it off the lot, and Ramin arranged to have her taken care of and gave me his own car as a "loaner" overnight. Ryan followed up once the car was ready, and was as pleasant an individual as you could wish for. If I were to rate out of FIVE STARS they would get ***** Thank you! I knew just what I wanted when I went in, and the DARCAR team worked very hard to make sure I got what I wanted, within the rest of the DARCAR team. I have a 2007 F250 ford truck that I purchased new at DarCars Ford in Lanham in Dec of 2006. I recently had it serviced at this dealship for an oil change and tire rotation. Shane is and has always been DarCars Ford in Lanham in Dec of 2006. I recently had it serviced at this dealship for an oil change and tire rotation. Shane is and has always been my service advisor. Once the oil was changed and tire rotation completed I explained to Shane that I had a wobble in the front end of my truck after hitting bumbs in the road. The trucks front wheels would shake after hitting bumbs in the road and continue to shake for several minutes after. Shane asked one of the machanics to test drive the veh. the machanic returned and explained that their was something going on in the front end. I asked if the problem would prevent me from driving the vehicle for a few more days. I was told it was safe to drive so I than made an appointment for a later date to have the front end problem addresed. When I returned I left the truck to be serviced and went home. About two hours later I recieved a call from Shane my service advisor who throughly explaianed the problem with my vehicle and the total cost of the repairs. The total cost of the part and labor was somewhere in the neighborhood of $1100.00. I had to pause for a moment, and I pondered why my ford truck that is only 4 years old and only has 36k miles had such an enormus repair problem. So, being very concerned I asked Shane why my truck which is only 4 years old and very low milage has such a problem and is their anything that he could do about reducing the repair cost. Shane mentioned that he was not sure why the problem had occured but he would speak to his supervisor about some finacial relief. Shane explainded my concerns to Mike the service departments supervisor. Mike contacted me and I expained to him my concern of having to pay for such a masive repair bill when I only have 36k miles and 4yrs on my truck. I also explained that once this repair is completed whats to keep it from recurring and costing me another 1100.00? I explained to Mike that Ford claims to have the longest lasting trucks on the road and that they are built Ford Tough I could see why they last so long if people like me continue to fix all of the problems that may occur at our expience. Mike mentioned that he would do what he could to help me with this costly and untimely repair. Two hours later Mike called me back and explained that I would only have to pay 1/2 of the cost and that Ford Motor Corp. would pay the rest. It is directly because of Shane my Service Advisors professionalism that my complaint was heard and effectivly dealt with. I would like to thank and commend Shane for his exceptional service towards me the customer and his attentive listening to my concerns. He took my concerns to his supervisor Mike and Mike was able to facilatate a resolution. They both should be thanked and commended. Mark A. The Assistant Service Manager Mohammad L. Janneh was awesome. Friendly, polite and professional. Even when I had made an appointment and it didn't show up in the system, he didnt even skip a beat. Answered all my questions and was honest and through. My Ford F150 needed a 15,000 service. I got the impression that the mechanics were well trained, I could see them working on my vehicle and it appears they really gave it a good check. I asked for an fuel filter change and was advised that it was not needed. I was surprised by the honesty. After it was all said and done the price was great, I expected the service to be much more expensive. I will definately be using their service department in the future. More
