While I was cheated and fooled around by several dears and wasted time, she made me think different way about dealerships which also can be honest and generous. At that day I purchased the vehicle she was off by emergency, but she prepared for me at ahead. She is an efficient helper, treats me with much attention, and make me feel valued and respective. I left angry with 20 thousand, showed 1 car in 6 hours On Friday, November 25, 2016, I went to DARCARS Ford with a certificate and a preapproved check for $18,000.00 from my credit union and had a $6,200 d On Friday, November 25, 2016, I went to DARCARS Ford with a certificate and a preapproved check for $18,000.00 from my credit union and had a $6,200 down payment from my insurance company from my previously totaled Nissan Xterra. I told the sales person that I had 4 days to find a vehicle so that I could return the rental I was driving. I wanted a Jeep compass that I found on the web through the credit union car buying program. When I got to DARCARS Ford in Lanham, I was told that they didn’t have the red vehicle that I chose but that they did have it in black. I asked to see the black model however, the sales person showed me a tan fully loaded Jeep compass for $27,000.00, yet never showed me the black Jeep similar to Jeep I came to purchase. I told over 5 sales people I didn’t want it and that it was over my budget. About five representatives over a 6 hour time span, tried to talk me into purchasing that vehicle. I left angry and frustrated that for one, they NEVER offered me another vehicle within the price range and two, they ran my credit when I asked them not to because I already had my own financing. The sale person handed me my credit report and said to me, you have better credit than I do. My credit score is 829 and I walked out empty handed with NO vehicle yet they hard thousands of cars on the lot. Two sales people called me back on Saturday November 26, 2016, however I told them I was not interested in purchasing a car from DARCARS Ford in Lanham and to never call me again. Life just isn’t fair but I did find what I wanted somewhere else and would never do business with DARCARS again and I’m tell anybody who would listen, not to do the same. Best regards! More

Untrustworthy Dealership On 12/3/2016. We put a deposit on a 2013 Toyata Prius C one in Metallic Blue to prevent it from being sold before we could get a check from our credit On 12/3/2016. We put a deposit on a 2013 Toyata Prius C one in Metallic Blue to prevent it from being sold before we could get a check from our credit union. We returned on 12/04/2016 to receive a purchase order to give to our credit union. We should mention the car we went to purchase was falsely listed as a 2013 Prius C two. After investigating the VIN, we learned that the car was a 2013 Prius C one. The car was sold to a person willing to pay more on 12/6/2016. Darcars sold this vehicle while still holding our $500 deposit. We were not notified. We learned of this transaction on 12/7/2016 when we arrived to purchase the car. We had to initiate the process of our deposit being refunded back to us. We still have not received our deposit back as of 12/7/2016 and a check will be sent in the mail. We are still consulting with whomever we can to see if what Darcars of Lanham has done is legal. We are writing letters to all that we can to inform the proper authorities of what has transpired. As of now, I am writing reviews on every forum I can to ensure that before anyone comes here, they understand the kind of operation this dealership is running. If you can, do not purchase from this dealership. If you must, do not give them any of your money until you have the keys in your hand. Even then, the car may be sold before you step out the door. Service department sucks! I took my Ford Explorer to Lanham Ford service department for repairs and when I picked it up nothing had changed. By the time I got my car home 5 mil I took my Ford Explorer to Lanham Ford service department for repairs and when I picked it up nothing had changed. By the time I got my car home 5 miles away, the exact same problem that I reported to the service department was happening again. I couldnt use my car. I took the car back to them and they acknowledged that for the 1300+ bill they didnt fix the problem. I had to rent a car for a week and picked up the car again. I noticed a loose large screw and nut between the wind shield and hood. The next day on my way to work the car again had the same problem and stopped in the middle of the road. So dangerous. Lanham Ford wont take responsibility. Rented a car for 2 weeks. Found a new mechanic who diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The new mechanic said the problem was easy to identify a d not as costly as all of the charges I was billed by Lanham Ford. Lanham Ford won't refund my money. The service manager was no help and the general manager ignores my calls. It is the worst Ford service department I have used in 10 years owning my Ford. I am filing a law suit against them for my costs and damages. More
