Felt unsupported, multiple calls to the service manager from both my wife and I, never once received a call back, service rep never once was apologetic for a recall that left me without my vehicle for 3+ m from both my wife and I, never once received a call back, service rep never once was apologetic for a recall that left me without my vehicle for 3+ months, he spent each call denying my request rather than giving me options we received lots of details of what Covert would not do rather than being helpful. I had to call corporate to receive information and service. I will tell everyone I know, and all my public media review posts will reflect the terrible treatment and experience my wife and I received from the service department at COVERT. It is a shame that the service manager Mike Laosa never returned my 5 detailed voicemail and no one I spoke with could tell me whether he was in the building or out of the office or even if he still was on payroll. I don’t know what they’re paying him in the service department but it’s probably too much. He’s costing the company really bad reviews. If you look online, you’ll see mine very soon. Unfortunately the The service department at Covert are doing the service to Lincoln brand Fortunately, after dealing with corporate, they were able to salvage the image, but the damage is still done from Covert. And it’s a shame because we had such a great experience with the sales team, but the support team treated us poorly. When speaking with Covert we felt like we were speaking to an opponent certainly not an advocate on our side, what a shame, as we are both in the customer service and hospitality profession we know the spirit of a company and each department flows from the top down and it goes to explain the lack of support or even a return call from management. I had to make an appointment to make an appointment. I scheduled service online, there was no selection available for my repair need so I called the dealership after booking. I explained what repairs I needed and I was told to come in and the service dept would get me sorted out. I arrive on my scheduled day and was scolded by the service person for not correctly identifying my problem. I explained that I called in, he insisted that none of the numbers on my file were logged in as a call that day. Yes, really, they checked the record (and lied to me about it, I have my own record of the call guys but you were too focused on deferring accountability to even look at it). Then I was told that they would need to schedule another appointment because they were too busy for my repairs. That appointment was in 30 days, are you kidding me? Smash cut to a MONTH later and I come for my 2nd appointment. I'm told that they will need to order parts. I ask why they didn't do that a month ago since they repair requirements were already known. My answer was a shug of the shoulders and an "I dunno." Had to leave my car for two days. So, it took 60+ days to correct safety issues with my vehicle. Your service department is unprofessional, slow and woefully understaffed. It was explained to me that "every dealer" has this problem. Guess what, Toyota doesn't, neither do other brands, this is a Ford issue, and you're making it a problem for your customers instead of taking accountability. I have been a Ford owner since I was a kid but your build quality, service, and customer experience has become dismal. This is my last Ford product. More
Very disappointed in Covert this time. My car needed recall work and while I understand that is not the most profitable work for the company, it was necessary. The car was at the dealer a week and I was without any transportation during that time since a loaner/rental is not provided for recall work. It was difficult to get updates on it, despite asking for detailed messages on my cell phone- I teach and cannot always answer my phone in class. When the car was finally ready-two days longer than promised—we were not given any paperwork to show what had been done. I just have to assume the proper work was done for the car! This is not the type of service I am used to with Covert and seriously makes me question the long term relationship I’ve had with them. More
