We've had our car serviced by this dealership for over 8 years. It was previously Freedom Honda. Since ownership changed, we've been disappointed with the service. The workers are nice, however, the costs have gone up tremendously and the service has decreased. It's now around $75 to have the oil changed with an additional $20 in service and fees!!! Also, we used to receive a car wash but they have done away with that service...even though they charge a lot more!! From now on we'll take our Honda elsewhere. Just not worth the price. More
***WARNING*** Let me start by pointing out that my experience with Groove Honda has left me flabbergasted as to how in the WORLD they managed 4.8 star ratings as well as the 2022 dealership of the yea experience with Groove Honda has left me flabbergasted as to how in the WORLD they managed 4.8 star ratings as well as the 2022 dealership of the year. I quite certainly did NOT have a comparable experience and am taking my time out to share way as a warning to potential customers so they may consider a dealership that will not obliterate you with inept business practices. I headed down to Groove Honda in Colorado Springs in a winter storm having had the absolute naivety of trusting a sales associate I had developed a rapport over a number of weeks. I headed down there at 5:30pm and didn't get home until well after 10:30 after finding out I had my time extensively wasted. As it turned out, the sales representative not only had a customer inconvenience themselves about a vehicle they had spoken with them about through over a dozen phone calls and text messages, but the sales manager did not bother to confirm information. I made it painfully clear what make and model I was waiting for. I happened to call the dealership and Amy assured me that the dealership had received several of that particular vehicle that day. I was surprised because I've been checking the inventory every day for months and didn't see it on the website. I made sure to confirm that it was the specific year, make, and model we had discussed so many times before. She knew what I was looking for, I reminded her that it was me and I mentioned the make and model several times during my conversation the very evening she encouraged me to travel to buy it. Amy even said she spoke spoke with her sales manager for concrete details. Since it is a high demand vehicle I jumped on the opportunity, even during a winter storm. It took me much longer than normal to reach the dealership. It was an absolutely crap drive. I walk in and there is a different model than I had been communicating with Amy about. A different model than the one I had repeatedly mentioned prior to the drive. A different model than she said was at the dealership. I skipped dinner, waited to use the restroom, drudged at 25 mph, compromised my evening, my children, and my animals because I had no idea that Amy had no idea what she was even talking about. I had no idea she was not even in direct sales. She is a middle man between customers and actual sales people. Doesn't actually sell cars and apparently doesn't actually know the inventory. I was way tooooo stressed out under the conditions to be remotely amused at such an unexplainable folly at my cost. To put it mildly, I was peeved. I made that clear upon leaving. The sales manager then decided he had the right to be more disgruntled than me and followed me outside yelling profanities as I got into my car. The most ridiculous part of this unimaginable fiasco is that I not only was prime for purchase, but I had a beautiful and unique trade in with seriously low miles. Groove Honda would not only have made an easy sale, but would have made an additional sale from my car. It took me two more hours to get back up to Denver. When I did it was after 10pm while stores and restaurants were subsequently closed. I have to get up at 6am for work and I'm sitting here writing this review because I got COMPLETELY screwed around by the sales department at Groove Honda. If you are local, or out of town please consider bothering the general manager before you have such an astoundingly ridiculous experience with the sales department. Honestly, this is a long review, but I feel I have edited my experience shortly for the sake of basic civility. P.S BEWARE OF GROOVE HONDA!!! More
After buying 4 new Hondas over 10 years with Freedom, which was a top notch dealership, I went to "groove" for a failed key fob yesterday. The Service writer, Danny, was the least friendly individual I h which was a top notch dealership, I went to "groove" for a failed key fob yesterday. The Service writer, Danny, was the least friendly individual I have ever dealt with at any dealership--and I have purchased 36 cars. He got things off to a perfect start, being a legend in his own mind. He and the Service "director" ( I believe is her title) Cindy told me it was covered for 12/12--not 36/36--which it is. They contacted Honda and were told it is a 36/36 covered part, as I was also told by Honda Corporate when I called today to reconfirm. Then they switched tactics--blaming me for damaging the fob when I replaced the battery--which had a "Low battery in keyfob" warning light on the dash. The battery still had 2.9+ volts, so was not actually low--a 3V battery. The fact it engaged the light at that voltage level suggests a failure in circutry, NOT a low battery charge. The car has 13,000 miles on it and is 28 months old. I also replaced the battery in the other fob with no problem. There are 4 spring terminals under the battery--which I never touched as the old battery came out with just a fingernail flick and the new just pushed down with my thumb, so it was impossible for me to have damaged the terminal--as I 'never touched it.' It, being cheap metal and paper thin, probably fatigued and broke on its own when the battery became free of its slot, or became partially disconnected thereby sending the low voltage signal. We don't drive the car that much and alternate fobs, so there is no way a 2032 should go out that quickly--and the 2.9 v remaining confirms it didn't. Instead of looking out for their customer and putting him first, they used the slimiest tactics I've ever seen to try and cheat me out of what should be a simple warranty claim--for which they are paid making this whole situation incredible to me. This was the immediate conclusion of their so-called service writer, Danny, who just grabbed the first excuse he could find. He called me back today--rude, the most unprofessional CSA I've ever dealt with. A fine spokesman for his dealership to guarantee customers become smart enough to go elsewhere for a Honda or service. Great hire. If you want to be screwed with "after care" for a Honda, they are your place. If you have any sense, you wouldn't buy a sparkplug from these assclowns. If you do, you will regret it. More
