Not only did Bill take my car in to be serviced the same day that I called, but I also had it back that same day. He was honest and efficient and made sure to call me right away with what was wrong with the car. I got my car back washed and it looked so clean. I will definitely be using Colonial Volkswagon and Bill Fallon for my car repairs in the future. More
I was not happy with the service at Colonial VW. My car was under warranty and in short they wanted me to claim warranty repairs against my automotive insurance. Colonial Volkswagon and Bill McGrath were amazing when I needed them. I had never had my car serviced there before but when I called as a new customer on a busy Saturday morning around 9 am about a new eng needed them. I had never had my car serviced there before but when I called as a new customer on a busy Saturday morning around 9 am about a new engine light coming on they fit me in within the hour, even though they had a full schedule and only a skeleton crew. They got the car in faster than they predicted and endud up fixing a glow plug that had failed, all at no cost to me. Everyone I interacted with was extrememly friendly and helpful. More importantly, everyone went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. I will definitely return to Colonial and would recommend it highly to anyone who needs a Volkswagon dealer and service center. More

I have used this dealer and their service department since 2003 when I bought my used VW Jetta Wagon. The car developed some annoying "features" that they fixed immediately. They have bent over backwa since 2003 when I bought my used VW Jetta Wagon. The car developed some annoying "features" that they fixed immediately. They have bent over backwards to resolve any car issues I have had. I had a problem with the work of one of their mechanics, that was resolved immediately as well. On their own initiative, they were able to get me a month free of a car payment from VW of America. When I ask questions, I get an honest answer about the necessity getting different types of maintenance done (as in needed and worth the money or not really needed). A mechanic volunteered to stay after hours when I showed up at 5pm with a tire that was deflating. The service area seems to be always busy but I usually can get servicing on the day that suits me best. Love the team of Bill & Bill in the service department. They are hard workers and straighter shooters. Can not say enough good things about them. More
I want you to know I will NEVER EVER EVER on planet earth purchase another VW automobile again. I am sorry I purchased my Beetle in 2006. I have had NUMEROUS problems including heating, air condi earth purchase another VW automobile again. I am sorry I purchased my Beetle in 2006. I have had NUMEROUS problems including heating, air conditioning but most recently I had two light issues. One was a fog lite that came out. VW said they would have to take the entire thing apart and would charge me about $400. I took it to an auto part guy I know and he did it for $15 bucks. It gets worse. Earlier in the week I noticed a headlight out. So I took it to two mechanics I know who both said VW headlights are a horrible things to have to work with to even get to the light. This is just a light!!! So I called Colonial VW who said the same thing i.e. if others said it would cost me $400 bucks then they could not do any better. Are you kidding me for a rotten light bulb--$400 bucks??? I was furious. So I called VW National who would do nothing for me despite the fact that I said I was interested in getting a new car soon. Customer satisfaction made NO difference. Well it made a difference to one of my repair persons because they replaced TWO for $179 bucks. You can be sure any time I can I will give VW NEGATIVE reviews to every one I know including online as I am very computer savvy. Moreover, I am handicapped and could not drive a vehicle with no headlight at night! I am told VW parts are very difficult to fix and expensive. This is the LAST absolutely LAST time I will EVER purchase a VW again and if I could ditch it and get something else right now I would. What a LOUSY engineered car. VW STINKS for my money! You will NEVER see me again. EVER. More

I have been a service customer of Colonial VW for 4 years, and they have taken great care of my 2006 Jetta TDI. As a result of my good experience with the service department, when it was time to replac years, and they have taken great care of my 2006 Jetta TDI. As a result of my good experience with the service department, when it was time to replace the other family vehicle, we started our shopping at Colonial, and were very happy to get our second TDI, a 2009, which we also have serviced there. Most routine maintenance visits are short enough that I wait there, but for the longer procedure required today, they provided a ride home. More
I purchased a 2009 Volkswagen CC in June 2010 w/6000 miles on it. I was told the 10/20/30 maintenance appointments would be covered 3 yrs/36000. In Dec 2011 I brought the car in for it's scheduled 30000 miles on it. I was told the 10/20/30 maintenance appointments would be covered 3 yrs/36000. In Dec 2011 I brought the car in for it's scheduled 30000 mile oil/maintenance appt. I was told it was out of warranty. Not in miles, it had only 31,300 on it - but by date. My warranty started from the day of delivery which was 2008! so here I was thinking my warranty started with the year of the car but found out it started in 2008. So right off the bat, I lost almost a year off of my warranty. I was not told any of this when I purchased the car. My sales person no longer works at Colonial so he was no help. I called Tony (manager)and he said that my warranty didn't go by the year of my car....he also stated that since I was so upset over this I could drive it to Westborough and they would cover just the oil change, not the maintenance check for me. I did drive to Colonial and they did do an oil change but would not rotate the tires or flush the brake fluid. I honestly feel like the dealership misled me by not letting me know that my warranty had started a year before the age of the car. I just assumed that I would be covered from 2009 for 3 years or 36000 miles. When all was said & done I paid $36,400.00 for my car. For the minimal price it would have cost Colonial to do the complete 30,000 maintenance service on my car I think they should of done it, instead I feel duped by them and will not be returning when my loan is up next year. Heed my advice, when you buy a pre-owned car ask the actual day the warranty starts because they do not give out this info when you purchase!! More
