Knowledgeable Staff and Great Service I've been having my VW's services at Colonial for over 8 years and I am always impressed with the service department's prompt and through service; but I've been having my VW's services at Colonial for over 8 years and I am always impressed with the service department's prompt and through service; but what keeps me coming back is Bill McGrath and the customer service I receive at Colonial. Recently, I encountered a bit of trouble with my 2011 GTI. I dropped Billy an email explaining the situation. Bill was able to fit me in to a very busy Saturday, got the problem diagnosed and my car was ready that afternoon. A big thank you to Bill and the rest of the wrenches at Colonial - excellent service and you bet I'll be bring my cars to Colonial for years to come! More

Volkswagen Beetle Walked in at 8:00 am for an oil change on my Jetta and drove off at 11:00 in a new, used beetle. Mike Lodowsky caught me looking at the beetle in the Walked in at 8:00 am for an oil change on my Jetta and drove off at 11:00 in a new, used beetle. Mike Lodowsky caught me looking at the beetle in the showroom, as he was walking in the door to start the day. He said, jokingly, "is this your new car"? It has never been such an easy, pleasant experience buying a car before. Mike never gave me any pressure and he made things work. Love the Beetle and hope it works out as good as the Jetta did. At 203,000 miles it was time!! More
Amazing service Had my 2012 GTI down for service with John Lacey and let me tell you if it wasn't for him I would have been freaking out about it all, thankfully John Had my 2012 GTI down for service with John Lacey and let me tell you if it wasn't for him I would have been freaking out about it all, thankfully John did everything for me and made everything super easy he got me a loaner vehicle and he kept me fully updated on everything that got done, if you ever need service I recommend going to him if you are someone who loves their car because he will treat yours as if it was his and he will keep you up to date always and he will always be there to answer your questions like he was with me great place over all! When you said no to them, they broke your car!!! If there was 0 point, I will do that. Their auto service department did not even worth 1 point. They charged me 112 dollars diagnose fee even though they did not find any issue and they made up some ridiculous reason to get more money from me. When I said no to them, they broke my car!!! I send my 2012 Jetta there to check the electric circle issue early this week, because the front light turned on by itself during the night and it dried out the battery. First day I went there, I was told my car was fine. They checked the battery and everything was fine. They said I probably left the light open. Second day morning, the same situation happened and I send my car to the service again. This time, they told me that they spend two hours and could not find any issue there. They confirmed that my battery is fine again and they said they would charge me 112 dollars diagnose fee and they wanted to leave the car there over night and spend two more hours tomorrow. The third day morning, they called me said my battery failed the test. It would cause 250 to get a new one. Not mention that I have a relatively new car with original battery which could last at least five years. How come the battery is fine for the last two days and it failed at the last day when they need an excuse to send my away. I still paid the 112 dollars diagnose fee even though they found out nothing. When I got my car back, the driver side window could not be open or close automatically. When I turn off the engine, there used be a sound to remind you if you forgot to turn off the light. And this is not working too. I will never go their again and I definitely do not recommend anyone go there. More
