Don was tremendous , he basically saved me from a terrible experience with another dealership , and basically saved Fords reputation in my eyes. I went into the dealership to have a hose replaced on my 2001 Ford Expedition. While there I walked into the showroom and eyed a new 2014 Explorer. At that point, I met Don Bashak, he approached me and answ 2001 Ford Expedition. While there I walked into the showroom and eyed a new 2014 Explorer. At that point, I met Don Bashak, he approached me and answered a few questions that I had about the 2014 Explorer models. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable in addressing my questions. He was not pushy, simply made me award that he was there to assist. Well, I wondered back to the service waiting room for a while to do some iPading. A bit later I found myself back looking at the same model in the showroom. Again, Don offered his assist if I needed anything or had questions. He conveyed to me that Colonial had several 2013 Explorer Certified Model on the lot. I had told him that I would not be interested in a NEW one, too much depreciation and overall cost. He presented to me the 2013 models they had. He asked what color I would desire if I was to even consider... I said black. He quickly showed me the specs on the one in inventory that he considered the best of the current lot. I went back to the service waiting room to attempt to kill the "bug" of trading my Expedition. I went back to Don and we started talking price. I told him that I would want undercoating and a trailer hitch. Before I knew it he drove me up to a local shop that does both. I spoke with the service guy there about my concerns and desires. Undercoating to reduce salt impact on metal and my requirement for a hitch. We went back to the showroom and finished negotations. Done deal. Now, let me tell you what I like about Don Bashak. As I stated, he was not pushy. He provided me the right amount of assistance (aka face to face and space). He did an excellent job of "reading me", providing the space I required. He was open and friendly and knew his products. I could tell by way he handled himself that he was not the typical car salesman, he was calm and direct and quite sure of himself. This gave me a very good feeling about how he would manage the sell and any required follow up afterwards. He did not tell me to trust him but through his actions and self confidence, he made me move forward in my decision to trade my Expedition faster than I would had with a lesser individual. Since the delivery he has followed up on everything outstanding. I have visited him several times during the couple of "To Dos" or follow up items. Don's character and presences have not changed which would be expected from others after a sell. Colonial is ver fortunate to have him on their staff! He made a delighted customer. He made me feel very comfortable, answered all of my questions, took the time to pick my brain to make sure I was getting in the vehicle that was right for me – could not recommend this guy (or this dealership) any higher. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted with all of the bells and whistle and at a price I can afford. Whatsmore, he followed up after my purchase, just to make sure I was satisfied, wasn’t having any issues, etc. I will never again buy a car from anyone but Tom, so I hope he stays with Colonial Ford – this was an all-around great experience. My experience at the dealership was superb. Don Bashak was not only receptive to what I was looking for in a purchase, he made sure that the entire process was above and beyond what I envisioned it would was not only receptive to what I was looking for in a purchase, he made sure that the entire process was above and beyond what I envisioned it would be. Having been hesitant in such a commitment, my concerns were plenty. By the time the purchase was complete, I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff were friendly and helpful. The options and packages available to me were clearly defined. He made me feel that his mission was to help me and he made me feel comfortable. I did not get that "salesperson" feeling or pressure that is typical of the car purchase experience. Overall, I am more than satisfied. Thank you. More

I bought a 2013 Ford F350 singles rear wheel in November 2013 and two months later decided to upgrade to a new 2014 Ford F350 Dually in January. I came to this dealership after walking out of another for poor customer service. I was introduced to my salesperson Tom and he took great care of me. When picking up my new vehicle he went through the ins and outs. He filled it with gas and lastly let me know I could call him anytime with any question. I will definitely will go back to this dealership and salesperson for future purchases. More
