I went to look at a used Wrangler Sport, I was told it would be better to look at a 2013. I explained that I could not afford for my payments to increase as I live paycheck to paycheck nor could I afford would be better to look at a 2013. I was told I could work the sales tax into my loan. Nor would I have a payment for 45 days, PERFECT!!!! I found a 2013 Wrangler I liked, it was located at another Royal Gate Dodge dealership. I was then asked to write a check for $500 in ensure I would not let the deal slip away. I was informed it was just to secure the transaction and when I returned to sign the paperwork I would receive the check. Again, I explained that money was needed for bills. My salesman (who is no longer) called me the day I was to come in and told me the monthly payment increased by $40. I accepted the offer and told him it could not go up any higher. When I went to sign the paperwork I was told they needed the $500 to finish the deal. I told him no, forget the deal. Somehow, they ended up not needing the $500. When I went to sign the paperwork, my payment went up $100 and I had make a payment within 2 weeks via automatic withdraw. This transaction was already done before the finance guy, Tim, finished explaining this to me. I was stuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked Tim about my paperwork to get the vehicle licensed in my name. He said I would receive all the paperwork within 3 weeks. I asked how the sales tax payment works, he said, when you receive your paperwork a check will be right in front. I called the dealership because it had been over 3 weeks and I needed that paperwork. I was informed they were waiting for paperwork from my old finance company. They were willing to bring my paperwork to me AFTER I expressed my concerns on how things have been handled. Thank goodness I asked about the check BECAUSE IT IS NOT PART OF MY FINANCING AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR MY SALES TAX NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

I have bought my fourth car from this dealership and I feel like they listen to what it is you want and do there best to put you in the car of your dreams. I had a great experience dealing with my sales consultant Aaron Toutloian and Finance Manager Jeff Wheeler. I am a single mom who has been waiting quite a while to get the jeep wrangler and I wish I would have done it years and years ago but every time I get in my car I just smile knowing its mine. It's a awesome feeling. Go see these guy's they will work hard for you and take a list of the thing's you really want and be willing to negotiate cause that's what you have got to be willing to do. Just one more note, Women get out there and go buy your own car's we can do it just as well as anyone else. Just be clear and know what you want! This is why I give them a very high rating. More
I must say I am very disappointed with this dealership. They are to judge people when they see you I was told I was approved. I got a car. My brand new car is a complete lemon. More problems on top of problems. The sales guy or finance man are no longer there. The service department as as if if you are upsetting them by trying to get the piece of junk fixed. They have worst service. Once you get a car from here you are on your own and if you complain you never here back. I recommend this unprofessional place to nobody and further more I never want a dodge nothing.....I cant wait to get rid of this vehicle. We have always bought cars from here and never had a problem before, Our salesman was Scott Boyer who overall was decent throughout the sale, however after the sale, they no longer cared. I called my salesman next day, told me hes not a mechanic he just sells the car and to drive on the donut until I got my coupon book with reimbursements.My dash board is coming off and my car is clunking when its two weeks old. My window tint then started peeling off and I called up there and they said it would be fixed and here we are two weeks later with still pealing window tint. I was also told I had sirus radio and navigation in my car which I just found out I don't it was a lie. not only was I lied to about what I bought but also no help after my car started to fall apart and the worst of it all I go up there to talk to the manager he does nothing but say ok ill get your tint fixed take your car to service. Hes even the general manager an when I asked whos above him he said no one. I will NEVER deal with this dealership again. A good salesman is an honest one and a good dealership has respectable staff to make you happy. This place just wants your money and could care less about anything else. I will never recommend this place to anyone. More
I tried working with this dealership for about a week to buy a new car. The 2 salesmen I worked with had little to no experience. I don't blame the salesmen. I blame the dealership for poor training and set up for the salesmen. The general sales manager I talked with even agreed with me on this point. I talked about the 0% rate for 36 months from the very beginning of the deal. Got to the point of signing for the car with the finance guy and was immediately told the 0% was off the table because of the rebates on the car. He informed me to go back to salesman while he talked to the sales manager. The sales manager introduced himself to me before going to the finance guy’s office. After about 10 minutes max the finance guy came back to me and said he had one more option for me. However, it turned out to be nothing different. The deal was off. I took my car back and left the dealership. The next 2 days I used the dealership's website to try to have upper management or the salesman call me back. They never did. I finally called the salesman's cell to get my $25 gas card and he didn't even know how that was done. Again, poor training by the dealership. We talked about the deal for awhile and he said they assumed the customer understood it was either the rebates or the 0%. I told him they should never assume anything. They need to inform the customer of everything. He agreed on this point. I asked him about the emails I sent through their website. He went to his computer and saw them. Even told me the times I sent them. I asked why no reply. He said he didn't know how emails like this are handled. Again, poor training by the dealership. He offered to have his manager call me. I agreed. The general sales manager did call me. We talked about the deal. I informed him that no one replied to my 2 emails I sent to them using their own website and that the salesman even acknowledged seeing them in a conversation with him. The general sales manager told me that the salesman was not set up yet to get those emails. Again, poor training/set up by the dealership. We talked about the 0% issue and he agreed the dealership should have told me about this upfront – no assumptions about anything. Chad, the GSM, asked what he could do to fix this. He said he could give me more for the trade or something like that to earn my business. I informed him I was not sure I wanted a business relationship with the dealership after what had happened. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. Two days later I texted him and said I wanted to talk to him directly and work this out. We set up an appointment for the following morning. The morning of the appointment he informs me through a text that the deal was good as it was and still wanted my business. Completely puzzled after him knowing I was not happy with the deal as it was but still offered the same one here. He completely backed off what he told me on the phone. I said I was extremely disappointed again. He said he could give me $500 more for the trade. I said forget it and that I would go elsewhere where the customer relationship and care would be a lot better. I would not recommend this dealership after this experience. It was extremely poor because they did not inform me of all the details of the deal upfront, their employees don't know about advertised items on their own website, don’t return emails/calls, and they say stuff to get you to come back but immediately give you the same deal - no changes. Only after I refused for the third time did they try to satisfied me and close the deal. When I purchase a car from a dealership, a business relationship forms and exists. I would use them to service the car, warranty issues, enhancements to the car, etc. After what happening during the sales negotiations, I have zero confidence and trust that they will be reliable after the sale of the car. Although off to a rough start, I was drawn back to royal gate 2 days later during a presidents day sale for the jeep that me and my fiance wanted from the get-go. Having much more time and being treated considerably better, we were eventually able to work out a great deal in comparison to what was being offered on the previous visit. Lori worked well with us to try and get us what we wanted. Eventually we spoke directly to Joby and I was able to pitch my view to him on the pricing of the trade and Jeep. I will say I am very pleased with the pricing. Lori was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful through out the entire process. I will be back for my next purchase for sure. More

We found one on-line and since we previously bought a car from Royal Gate, and had a great experience then, we decided to go back there and check it out. Rick helped us narrow down the choices based on the criteria we wanted and he showed us a few different vehicles. We wound up with the one we found on-line and we got it for a great price! But, it was good to do a little comparison shopping even though this was kind of sudden for us and even though it was really cold, and late. Rick arranged for us to be able to drive home the Jeep that night and do our financing later. When we came back to do the remaining paperwork, Gordon helped us and answered all our questions about the vehicle. Now we know where that removable, rechargeable flashlight is!! Overall a great experience and so far, we are very happy with our new Jeep! More
