We planned to buy the vehicle from Ciocca honda after we finalized the deal with Internet Sales Person(Brian Thomas).I informed Ciocca Honda that we are coming from Virginia before I started to Ciocca Honda. I have given my credit card information as they told they will charge $500 as a security deposit to hold the Vehicle. Once we went to Ciocca Honda, they showed me the vehicle and started the financing process. They pulled mine and my husbands (as a cosigner) credit history. Finally they told us to show our permanent resident card to process the loan. For which, we came back home upon the discussion that we need to revisit the store the coming week as an option showing the Permanent resident cards or financing with my own bank. Once we are back home, we got the loan approved from my local bank and we informed that my bank is ready to finance the vehicle, and starting to Ciocca Honda the next day to complete the purchase. Suddenly financing manager (Mike Loy) told us they have changed their mind and no longer ready to sell the vehicle to me as we are not resident to Harrisburg PA. As a consumer, this is completely unacceptable for me for changing their words after they asked us to make a trip to the store and taking our personal information, pulled our credit history for no reason. After taking our personal information and days of time, they are not supposed to do what they did now with us. When I spoke to Mike on phone, asking you should have to told all these things before we come there on 11/19/2011, he concluded with his harsh words. More
From the initial contact Ciocca Honda made with me...they had me at Hello. Jennie, their on line person was awesome to deal with! Even in her absence, Brian helped answer my questions to the fullest. Once at the dealership; Joe gave me an extrdinary presentaion on what my new Honda is capable of doing. Mind you; I already visited a Honda dealership close to my home...compared their presentation to that of Joe's...they were not in the same league...Joe was 1000 times better. Mike also made me an offer I could not refuse regarding the extended Olympic warranty on my new Honda. Evan after I purchased my vehicle; Joe programed everything inside my vehicle the way I wanted it (bluetooth, XM radio staions, door locks, & Navigation). When Ciocca Honda says they are all about customer service...they mean it...its not just idle words...I'm glad I drove the 90 minutes plus vs the 15 minutes (Honda dealership near my home)to purchase my Honda. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I advised my co-workers for their future purchases of Honda vehicles or other vehicles Ciocca sells...to give them a chance! They will not be disapionted. This sale began as an internet search for a 2012 Honda Odyssey. The dealership responded in a timely manner, and engaged us with friendly professionalism. The exact make and model was available, and the price they agreed to sell was excellent (well worth the 90 minute drive to the dealership). We were met with friendly service by everyone from the greeting salesman (offering us coffee and a snack) to the finance coordinator, and even the detailer. The car is fantastic, the overall experience was effortless and exceptional. Joe Barone, our salesman, was caring and sincere. He went over every function of the vehicle, and called with a follow-up to be sure we were satisfied. Great Service, highly recommend. More
Unbelievably great customer service. I bought a used (of course) 1999 Ford Taurus with over 100,000 miles, "as is." I didn't drive the car for a few days, and when I went out to start it again, the battery course) 1999 Ford Taurus with over 100,000 miles, "as is." I didn't drive the car for a few days, and when I went out to start it again, the battery was dead. I took it to my local Ford dealer and they told me there was nothing wrong with the car. They cleaned the connections, recharged the battery, and sent me on my way. Aftre a couple of idle days, I had the same problem again. Ciocca replaced the battery for free. Well, it happened a third time. Ciocca then towed it in at no cost to me (I live about 40 miles away from the dealership) and tried to repair it (again at no cost to me). When they realized it was an electrical and not a mechanical problem, they found another 1999 Taurus with more features, 20,000 fewer miles, and in like-new condition, and replaced the car I bought. I didn't even have to ask - they did it because they felt I had "been inconvenienced." They even paid to transfer the plates to the new car, etc. (Remember - I bought this car "as is"!) Then I had problems with the second car - all minor, and to be expected in a car of that age (1999). At first, the shift lever wouldn't move unless I used both feet and pushed the pedal nearly to the floor. They fixed that - for free. Then the "service engine soon" light came on. They repaired the car and provided free service - all I paid for was the parts. Keep in mind that I bought the first car "as is" and it had over 100,000 miles when I bought it - they could have told me tough luck, but instead did everything they could to make things right. On the way home, before I had even gone more than a couple of miles, the "service engine soon" light came on again. I called them and brought it back the following day, and this time they even paid for the parts, and were incredibly nice to me. (Turns out there were sensors that had to be replaced at the same time - since they're not Ford dealers, they didn't realize it.) Again, remember - I bought the FIRST car AS IS!!! The car is now running like a dream, looks like a brand new car, has more bells and whistles than I would have put into a new car, and would have sold for about $2,000 more than I paid for the first car - but they never asked for a thing from me except that I come back when I was ready to buy my next car. I bought another used car for my husband the same day I bought the first Taurus for myself, and his car hasn't had any problems at all, so chalk my problems up to the make/model/year/mileage - but nobody gives great customer service like this anymore! If all car dealers were like Mike, Sam, Andy, and everyone else I dealt with at Ciocca, the world would be a better place. Until that time, deal with Ciocca with total confidence - I'm now a customer for life and tell everyone I meet about how wonderful they've been to me. Thanks, and I'll be back when I'm ready for my next car! More
I was very disappointed in Ciocca Honda and the 'experience' I had. I traded in a 07 Saturn Sky with very low mileage in excellent cond., no dents, etc. They low balled me on the trade and sold i 'experience' I had. They priced the used 09 Honda Civic coupe i traded for at top dollar that once I got it home was not in top dollar condition. In addition when I went to sign the papers, the agreed amount was $1000.00 short. But since the Sales manager was not there, I was not going to fight about it and just wanted to get out of there. When I went out to look at the car, it was raining and the car was wet so I did not notice 2 small dents in it until I got it home and washed it, in addition to a rather large scratch that they tried to cover up. I called to see if I could get the dents fixed by Ciocca (at their cost) and they said they could get me an appt with the person who repairs their dents, but it would be at my cost. Really.....the customer does not come first as for ciocca to fix those 2 small dents it would have been a drop in the bucket for them, but they would not. So not only was my deal off by 1000.00, but I did not get a car they advertised in excellent cond and sold to me at top dollar. So needless to say, I am not impressed with this dealership and it will be the last Honda I own. Buyer beware! More
We had a wonderful experience at Ciocca Honda...great people, great family friendly environment and did whatever it took to get us where we needed to be to make purchasing a new car feasible for our nee people, great family friendly environment and did whatever it took to get us where we needed to be to make purchasing a new car feasible for our needs. We felt like we knew everything we needed to know before making our purchase and they made us feel in a way that we knew we were 100% comfortable in our decision to buy. I purchased a new CR-V from Ciocca about 4 years ago and found them to be the fairest customer oriented Honda dealer in the Harrisburg, Lebanon, Lancaster area. So when I was in the market for another car found them to be the fairest customer oriented Honda dealer in the Harrisburg, Lebanon, Lancaster area. So when I was in the market for another car I knew Ciocca was where I would go. They did not disappoint!! I would rate my latest experience even better than my experience 4 years ago. The staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I knew specifically what I was looking for and they were very responsive to my needs. There was a complication with my trade in, it was at college with my daughter and they could not see to appraise the trade until the morning of my appointment for the final sale. That did not stop the Ciocca team!! They gave me a tentative appraisal based on information I provided and we worked out the entire deal before they saw the trade-in. At my final sale appointment they were able to physically see the trade-in and even though there was a noticed problem with the trade-in they held to the original trade-in price and we finalized as planned!!! My recent experience was phenomenal and I would recommend Ciocca to anyone and everyone. The Ciocca Team is the greatest!!! More
After spending too much money on repairing my car, I decided it was time to look at a new one. In spite of the dearth of CR-Vs available due to the earthquake in Japan, Ciocca was able to get us the car decided it was time to look at a new one. In spite of the dearth of CR-Vs available due to the earthquake in Japan, Ciocca was able to get us the car we wanted exactly - the color, the model, the price - in a time frame that worked out great. The staff is so attentive. Especially Mark Shellenberger who answered my questions within 5 minutes of my emailing him. I had such a great experience, I fully recommend the dealership. There's no pressure. It's just always "Great News". More
