My new car buying experience was everything that in today's dealer world I expected it not to be: professional, knowledgable sales people with no gimmicks or high pressure sales technique. I was at two other Ford / Lincoln Dealerships prior to this one that knew absolutely nothing about the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and one dealership that did not even know how to start the car. One dealer told me a green light that was on was the battery, when actually it just meant the car was running. Now with regards to Mark Schmaling, my sales person at Ditschman Ford Lincoln, it was my best car buying experience since 1984 and I have had a few cars in between. I scheduled an appointment and a car was ready for a test drive upon my arrival. Mark, first wanted to make sure that I knew everything you wanted to know and needed to know about this new hybrid model. He took me for a test drive after going over all of the features and took me on a route to show how all of those features worked. I was extremely impressed. As I have a great interest in the technology and any potential issues with this technology I had many questions. And there was not one that stumped him. Of most interest to me was the warranty on the Lithium Ion batteries, the main electric storage system. I could find no information on this. Mark knew that NJ law follows California law and requires a 150,000 mile warranty on this battery. He also pointed out that it is highly unlikely that it will ever need to be replaced during the life of the vehicle based on cab tests in San Francisco. During pick up of the vehicle, Mark gave my wife a thorough run down of all of the car features, set up our cell phones, expalined the garage door opener system and set up all of the other voice activated screens (entertainment, climate controls and navigation). The business manager, Chris, handled our paperwork pleasantly and quickly having the registration ready for us. I also met Jim O'Brien, the Sales Manager, the first day I was there. Just a pleasant hello and if I need extra help, i could reach out to him. None of the past gimmicks, where the salesman disappears into a back room and the sales manager comes over with a high pressure sales pitch. If I needed to see the sales manager, I felt I could have gotten a hold of him but one was not forced upon me like previous experiences. The start to finish sales experience with one professional knowledgable and experienced person with no hand offs to others really stands out for me as par excellence. And I should note that the start of the process was an internet contact based on inventory seen on line. Ditschman was the only dealership where the internet contact, Mark Schmaling, was the same as the person that you met in the show room. To me that was very impressive, as Mark who made the initial contact with me actually knew product and certainly knew more than to just forward the e-mail to a slaes person. Lincoln should definitely use the Ditschman approach with people like Mark as their model for their other locations. Bravo to Mark Schmaling and Ditschman Lincoln. More

On April 29, 2013 I purchased a used Ford Ranger from Flemington/Ditchman and my salesman was Robert Presuto. I left Mr. Presuto a message on his day off and he returned my phone call within a hour from his residence to answer a few questions I had. Robert Presuto is a total professional and a asset to the Flemington/Ditchman Ford dealership. I would like to also say that Beth Delaney who assisted with the financial process of the purchase was extremely helpful and took her time explaining questions I had. Thanks again. More

I knew it had to be a solid deal with reputable people for this to be good for me. I discovered that this dealership not only was highly recommended on line but I found car salesmen here in Spartanburg, S. C. that knew of its high reputation for customer service and sales . I was fully convinced that Joe Valenti was an honest salesman who was helping me determine if this was the truck for me. I was ready to proceed. I was sent much information and many pictures that completely convinced me that this was a great truck at a great price. I began to process my financing at my local Federal credit Union. I did this because I have always had the best financing rate there Joe also suggested for me to go through Beth Delaney at Ditschman Ford for her to see if her competitive rate were lower. Beth found better financing with lower rates and shorter terms. She also treated me like family throughout this process. Very accurate and professional and kind. I was so glad that Joe knew how to help me get the best deal and financing. I flew up to Flemington, N. J. and bought the best truck I have ever seen. It was fully everything that I was told. I was so impressed with this truck. Also, Beth Delaney purchasing paperwork was just as she had said. No additional fees or dealer surprise fees. It was just as I had been told. I'm not happy because I just bought a great truck. I am happy because I was served by two great people and they helped me meet my need. Everything went well! I have a great salesman friend in Joe Valenti who was completely thorough and professional. It was his knowledge and experience that made me feel confident to purchase this truck. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the choice of cars as well as deciding between leasing and buying as my best choice. Kevin laid out a variety of options and helped guide me to my ultimate choice to lease which I believe is best suited for me at this time. Kevin Lawler is the "un-salesman". There was no bs, and he was honest. Yes, I said a car salesman was honest. I'm in California and was calling across the country for a specific Ford Explorer no bs, and he was honest. Yes, I said a car salesman was honest. I'm in California and was calling across the country for a specific Ford Explorer Sport that nearly didn't exist (had to have California emissions). A friend of mine in New Jersey said to call Kevin, so I did. Boy, am I glad I did. So many dealers flat out lied about so many details, especially about price protection from Ford. We had to order the car and it would have arrived past the expiration of a factory incentive. Other dealers never said anything about protecting the incentive and wanted me to buy something from them now. Kevin simply said they don't have it and the best price he could give was if we simply ordered it. He told us to call a local dealer and ask if they would do a "courtesy delivery" to receive the car in California. We're going to service the car at that dealer (while it's under warranty at least) so for a few hundred bucks, they said yes with no issues that they didn't sell it to us. Heck, they were the first dealer we went to... Completely over the phone, we ordered our exact car. We knew what the price was for the car/options and even pricing across the nation so we were ready to say, "here is what's a fair price to pay for the car". We respected him by not coming in with some ridiculous low-ball and he actually came in below our budget. So, we ordered an extra option to get us right where we were comfortable! Incredible. Even though Kevin is across the country, I will go back to him for our next car. Kevin can be trusted. Simple. That's the single most important aspect for me. I've used brokers in the past because of this factor. Every dealer can get any car, not every salesman can make you feel like you don't need a shower from the experience. More
