Above and Beyond I purchased a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL back in Oct 2014 and after driving it for about a week I fell in love with it. While I was shopping for a car, I ju I purchased a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL back in Oct 2014 and after driving it for about a week I fell in love with it. While I was shopping for a car, I just decided that this was the car I liked the most but after a week it was love. The buying experience was great a 5 star rating I gave it. Then about a week before New Year I noticed that the rear bumper as it wraps around and ends just above both rear wheel wells was broken about an inch in from the tip on both sides. After looking at it from a " someone hit me aspect" I realized that there was absolutely no evidence of some one hitting me nor any other external force that could have caused the damage, I concluded that it must be a manufacturing defect. I even had other professional body mechanics look at it and they came to the conclusion it was "probably a defect". No Problem, I thought, I have a BUMPER TO BUMPER warranty, but in this case the bumper may not be covered because, honestly, there really wasn't any way to prove it was a defect. Long story short after several attempts of trying to resolve the issue it looked as if I would be stuck with getting the bumper fixed myself. At this point I was extremely disappointed with Ditschman Ford and I voiced my dissatisfaction and in steps Jerry Sheehan, the General Manager. After a short conversation, Jerry decided that they would indeed replace my bumper as well as supply me with a rental car till my car was repaired. I am extremely pleased with the final result and grateful to Ditschman Ford for their commitment to customer satisfaction that goes "Above and Beyond" Thank You Jerry Sheehan, Joe Valenti, and Pete Chicarelli . Chris was able to help me get the vehicle that I wanted with the right lease parameters and also get me out of a bad situation with my existing vehicle. He presented all the options to me and i chose the one that best suited me and my family. Since he is so trustworthy and the dealership knows how to treat their customers, the communication was impeccable. Especially when Chris suggested that i come to the dealership a little bit later so that their would be no waiting around. Essentially, i came to hand in my lease and pick up the new vehicle, which had plates and registration already taken care of.
