I had resigned to the fact I would be car less for a while, but their motto "come join the family" proved me wrong. My first dealership I would like to start by saying my very first car buying experience was sloppy and rushed and wasn't with a dealer. I spent 3k on a car that I really should have paid 1500 for. And I wound up spending even more fixing it up over the single year I owned it. So you can imagine how intimidated I was when it came time to go to a real dealership.. I had no idea where to start. With the help of my mom and the amazing team of salesman including Jaret to be specific, I now own the most beautiful little car. I walked in by myself looking for a specific car, Jaret didn't miss a beat. He didn't act like I was a nuisance when I approached him. Which I was afraid would happen due to my ripe age of 23. Instead he looked at me as an adult who just needed to be in an vehicle that she could afford. He never once tried to upset me. He wasn't pushing me in an direction I didn't like. He was very personable and kind and very understanding. Next time you need a car, see Jaret at the Toyota/Nissan building! I can't forget the man that promised to keep my payments where I wanted them. Boy did he deliver that promise with a nice golden bow. Rich is the finance guy at the Toyota/Nissan location and he was the same way. Didn't hesitate because of my age, treated me like a regular person and even kept his promise! I feel bad about the next person because i cant remember his name...but he is the finance manager there and when it came to signing he explained everything so I could understand. He didnt push me to get more warranties, merely suggested which ones I might like or want. He brought me through all the paperwork with ease. He made me feel confident in what I was signing. excellent customer service!!!!!!!!! So, I decided one day that I wanted to start shopping for a new vehicle... I was currently driving a minivan that was quite a few years old. I knew that I no longer wanted a minivan but needed a vehicle that seats at least 7. With the advice of a few family member, friends and customers at my work I decided to start with Charlies Toyota in Augusta. I went onto the website to view what they had for vehicles, I fell in love with the Toyota Highlander! I had my heart set on a 2016 Highlander that was a maroon color. I proceeded to fill out the credit application online for the vehicle I picked out. I want to say it was 9 pm on Friday evening when I did this.... first thing Saturday morning I received a call from Rich Asselin, he was very pleasant and confident... asked me some questions regarding what I was looking for in a vehicle than we scheduled an appointment for my next day off (Thursday). I was sent an email confirming my appointment that included the directions. On the day of I received a text reminder with the phone number if I needed to contact them. When I first walked in I was a little nervous, but right away I was asked if I could be helped... I stated that I had an appointment and he said that he was the one that I had spoken with on the phone and I instantly felt comfortable! Everyone that I spoke with or seen in passing was very polite and welcoming almost like family! I was introduced to Kurt MacKenzie who was the guy that helped find me the perfect vehicle with all that I was looking for and more! Needless to say because they asked all the right questions and actually listened to what I was saying I was only shown 1 vehicle that I fell right in love with and didn't want to see anymore! I knew it was the perfect vehicle for me and my family!!!!! If you actually did take the time to read all that I wrote you would realize that my experience exceeded my expectations!!!!! They were absolutely amazing there! I didn't feel like I was being pushed into anything nor did I feel rushed! To me customer service is extremely important and absolutely dictates whether or not I do buisness with them, I wouldn't have changed a single thing of how I was delt with! Down to when I was waiting for my credit to be approved for the vehicle I picked out... they made sure I wasn't just sitting there uncomfortably twiddling my fingers alone waiting... between Kurt and Rich someone was always talking with me. After everything was all said n done Kurt made sure I knew how to operate all the features of my new Highlander! He is very knowledgeable with Toyotas n I feel that is very important!
