Very Upsetting I took my car in to find out what a noise was that I heard coming from under my car. First thing I find out that upset me was that I was told it would I took my car in to find out what a noise was that I heard coming from under my car. First thing I find out that upset me was that I was told it would cost me $115.00 for that. Then 2hours and 40 minutes later I am still waiting so I went to the service right (Lisa Baca) and said no word from the mechanic yet on my car and I could see my car just sitting there. she stated yes but she was alone and had got very busy and had not had time to get to me. She the proceeded to try and tell me a few things that was wrong with my car and then said if you will go back to the waiting room I will come get you in a few minutes. Ok 30 more minutes she comes to get me and tells me all the problems with my car and it will cost close to $2000.00 I informed her I just live off Social Security I cant afford to pay out that kind of money. So she say's perhaps you should buy a new car if I cant afford to fix this car how can I pay for a new car. So after I left there I went to another shop who told me over half of the problems listed on the repair quote did not in fact need to be done. So today just to make sure I went to another shop way across town and was told the same thing that more than half was not true and did not need to be done. So what I am curious about is where do they get there mechanic's from and are they ripping off the public. Well I will never return to Chapman I have never had to pay to get an estimate done on my car just to find out what is wrong with it and by the way the 2 different shops I went to for an estimate charged me Nothing to do it what a rip off for a new car store I bought my car brand new from Earnhardt and they never charged me to look at it. More
